looks like I'm quitting clash

I know no one cares but I felt like it needed an announcement. I just can't play enough to make any head way.

my short term goal was nothing more than to get the barb king and to up grade my archers to level 5. Gaining elixir was a long hard slog for me. I always was able to find plenty of gold to upgrade my walls. All level 6 and 1/4 to level 7.

but gaining the needed elixir seemed out of my reach. only gaining 10k to 40 k at a time. rare occasions where I would gain 100k. I'm not sure how much time i spent getting over 1mil elixir, just half way to my goal only to have a period where i could not play often and see my elixir dwindle away from attack. Know i wasn't going to play much I even shed a few hundred trophies to try and stay at a safer level. that seemed to make it worse as I was then attacked by multiple dragons or 30 giants or other overwhelming troop counts.

the same was happening to my dark elixir. made it to 7500 only to lose 1000 of it in 1/10 the time it was going to take to get it back. Just lost another 550 last night

so I spent my one million elixir upgrading my lightning spell. used gems to get DE and got my barbarian king and spent every bit of gold I could

SO I COULD QUIT FOR A WHILE AND NOT LOSE ALL MY LOOT TO YOU HORRIBLE THIEVING RAIDERS:p

I havn't decided wether I'm going to put my collectors in the walls to make it hard for collector raiders and leave my empty storage out side

or be nice and let some minor thieves have some easy collector loot

I'm pretty sure you just need some guidance on how go raid. When I was a th8 I actually only started to learn how to raid properly by stepping away from my giant, barb, arch, goblin, wallbreaker army to barch only. The end of year boosting made it so that I could keep on trying without waiting and thus learning much faster. I got my lvl8 skulls that way. I dont have much playing time, about 2 hours a day or so. My trophy range back then was 1400-1500.

Anyhow, whatever you decide, good luck on yout travels! :)

I am a th8 hangin in gold three and get 200k average of elixer AND gold every raid.

I'm don't even spend 2 hours a day. some days are 0 to 10 minutes.

Remember to put your storages on the outside, try boom beach it might be for you :)

put your townhall outside. be more selective when choosing a base to raid. look for bases with 150k-200k loots. raid with barch army. try to look for collector bases to raid. hope that helps, if not theres always hayday.

I advise you don't quit until you we the update.

Dont quit CoC, wait for the update.

All I do is look for 150k to 200k loot to raid. The last time I played I think I spent 15k looking for one. That was with 1280 trophies (I think) and he had all level 7 walls and killer mortars and a few of those golden cannons. I normally wouldn't have attacked him but I was so board with the next. I didn't get my 200k.

hitting next over and over and over and over and over is not fun especially when you only have 10 or 15 minutes to play and you have time for one single battle and you spend 12 minutes looking for a battle that takes 2 minutes and then even if you could squeeze in another battle you cant because you have to wait 15 minutes to rearm.

This is not a bad game design.

Sorry OP but if you only have 10-30 mins a day to play, you can't expect to progress at a good rate.

You will reach a point were is impossible to progress.

Before you quit, put your resources outside for us farmers

I realize that now. some days I may spend 2 or more hours but its never 2 days in a row. 2 to 3 raids a day doesn't cover my night time loses.

for the life of me though I can not see how any one would actually want to invest a few hours every single day on this or any other game
but thats just me.

I'm a bitter bitter man. I spent every thing and locked those collectors up behind the walls.

even my DE storage is out side , with 2 de in it, and my drill is in the walls.

any one wants any thing they have to fight.

I guess difrent people have difrent life's, routines ,free time, priorities, objectives etc...

But I think this is like any other mmo, if you play once in a while you can't serious expect to reach the endgame.

You just reach a point in the game were the occasional Clasher don't progress anymore, or at least progress at a very very low rate.


I bet a lot of people can say what you say for people who like to reed books all day, or like jogging etc.

I for one can't understand why would someone wake up 2 hours early before work to make a jogging session, but then again that makes them happy.

raise cup level. alot of people in crystal has good loot. look for ones thats been attacked already with low or no ammo. also if your clan is not helping you with yoir problem you might need a new clan. go look for a clan that can guide you. thats the whole point of clans.

I say be nice and keep the collectors outside. My mini acct is hungry.

how cant you find any elixir? finding like 200K+ elixir is really normal for me. change ur trophy range

I wish there was a way I could know when a player quit the game without posting about it on the forums so that I could thank them. You on the other hand...

You are in the wrong range for this then. You haven't yet learned how to farm efficiently
