I've been using this in CW:

However, hogs are still able to make their way into the center...when that happens, they get 2-3 stars. I'm going to give The Moat a try and see how it goes. I'll use the version with ADs in the middle (since I get attacked usually by mass hogs or mass dragons in CW)

Most anti hog bases will be weak to BAM or BARCH or some other variant of a weaker army composition. The key is to be higher up in trophy ranges where most people will be using hogs or giant/healer.Quote:

I'm not sure if it's anti-hog because I never got hogged with it but it worked out pretty well.

In clan war, I would zap your inside ad, then spam five dragons at each of your exposed outer ADs, and three star you.
Edit: the op base could be used as a trap to ensure one star to mass drags. Load both of the outer ADs with all of your air mines/bombs in front of them as well as teslas, then put at least one wiz and arch tower in range of the ADs. The dragons would get your outer ADs, but would suffer enough damage to make three stars impossible, as long as you put arch towers within range of hammering them without being reached quickly.

I've had one attack by a TH10 with mass L4 dragons (I'm down to 2 ADs ATM as well) and was 3 starred pretty easily.
So no definitive review of the base just yet. Hopefully I'll have a few more defenses tonite.
That's why I don't use loons, they are too squishy. I use hogs instead to take out semi-exposed ADs, though in CW you have a lot more than 30 seconds to prepare.Quote:

I just tried this base (the first version displayed) in a clan war and got 3-starred by a TH 8 attacker with level 3 dragons. Clearly the air defenses are too exposed. I do not recommend this layout.

Doesn’t work against a smart opponent. They can clear the edges and then send the majority to the centre with a heal and rage. The only reliable anti dragon bases are more spread out.
I've been searching for a good anti-hog base for a long time and I think I finally found it.
I'm gonna be using the first version in my next clan war, The one with the 3 ADs and Mortars inside the core and I'll let u know how it works out, I've some doubts about how well it's gonna preform against a full dragons attack tho.

I was in a 10v10 war last week and 6 bases of the enemy clan had this layout. Their 3 ADs though are mainly inside the core. This is probably an anti drag base, but if you add in at least 5 balloons from the CC, it's almost as good as a 100%.
Most of my clan mates achieved 2 stars (Lvl 2 drags) when they did not add any balloons in the mix. We simply zap one AD which is further away and drop the dragons in a line nearest to the remaining ADs, focusing on the sides first before dumping the main group in the centre. The CC draws troops to the core, which made things easier. I had lvl 3 drags and took less than 2 mins each to 3 star a maxed base and a 95% maxed base.
I don't think any TH8 base can claim to be Anti-Drag because there probably isn't anyway anyone can stop an experienced mass drag user with Lvl 3 dragons if they deploy the troops correctly.
Not sure if this works against any other compositions though, but it does look well organised.

Why is your base build say Level 85 but when you show your defense log, in the background I can clearly see a Level 105? Are you using a different account to impersonate the base to make it look good? If not, what's up? Also, the account/village name is also different. What's up?
Ovicrum was helping me test it during the th8 is great push a while ago, He was a near max th8 too. Surprisingly he wasn't even one of the highest lv th8s there.Quote:
