what is wrong with some of you people?

I don't mind getting attacked. its part of the game. but I keep having these attacks that make absolutely no sense what so ever.

why would some one attack with 3 dragons and 15 level 3 giants as well as archers barbs and 2 spells in order to get 170k elixir and almost no gold.

at first I though it was for the 390 dark elixir but then I noticed he also used a golmn and a witch which cost him almost twice the dark elixir he used on the attack

is loot so scarce that some one would spend that kind of fire power to get 8000 gold.



and it happens quite often. maybe there are a lot of clash players who refused to take math class

You're assuming they are after recs. He could just be collecting TH, Morts, ITs, Xbows or {fill in the blank} for Achievement points. If he's like most higher level players collecting pink is easy so blowing it to 3 star a base for the achievement kills is worth it.

I deployed 50 minions to destroy 3 mortars on the exterior of a guy's base and then surrendered :-) I'm sure it looked pretty weird to the defender.

or they could be trophy hunting... you dont care about the resources if you can get those CUPS! :)

It could also be an experiment to test out with troop combos. That's the point of the game, innit?

Many higher level players do not care about elixir costs at all, it's easy to come by at their level. Sometimes it is also leftovers that we made to donate yet we did not get to, so we dump dragons, pekkas, giants etc. on somebodies base. Sometimes it's just for fun and sometimes it's experimental. Plus many times it's for cup count and resources do not matter at all, if you get loot that's just a bonus. So don't assume players are not smart enough to add the costs, just roll with it as there are way to many players in this game with different agendas than you have and your going to be upset a lot if you can't handle the random (seemingly senseless) attacks on your village.

Sometimes right before bed I will roll over a base that I consider to be setup with exploitable weakness, just for fun.

You should watch these replays and consider reorganizing some defenses.

I also think a lot of those are young kids. They either have been playing forever upgrading slowly because they are incompetent raiders and get just enough loot to upgrade things over time. Or they are using a friend or family member's account for fun. I have let my kids play with my account and they cook odd troops and just throw them in at random and watch what they do. In order words, they just have fun, and nothing wrong with that. :D But it does look pretty crazy from the other side.

Don't forget the bonus.

I get 33k-55k of each for a successfull attack. So an attack that look to be only worht 50k gold is indeed 83-105k gold.

But sometimes I'm just bored and I wan't a win just for fun. In the bus, during lunch or before going to bed.

The game is suppose to be fun anyway? How fun it is to only attack for profit.
