are upgrades to walls just a waste of time and gold? i almost have 250 lvl 9 walls and must say they look real nice around my defenses ;) i guess my question is it useless to upgrade them to lvl 10 or stop at 9 i would love your guy' opinions/experiance
Level 10s are the best looking walls IMO so I would go for them if you have the time:cool:
They're not useless but they're more of a speed hump than anything else, especially at higher trophy levels.
They are certainly not useless.. unless you are hit by an air attack :D
Seems like higher league levels are mainly air attacks so if you have gold to use on other defenses (especially with an angle toward splash or air if higher league) I would go that route first.
IMO (um as a newer TH7 LOL so no experience to know other than reading a bit in forums) walls seems less and less important the higher you go, especially if you are farming for them although I would still hugely respect those that are/were dedicated enough to farm their high level walls.
Might be interesting if next update put out something to counter all the higher level air attacks to bring back more relevancy to the high level walls in upper leagues.
I happily wouldn't know as a TH7 though. Enjoying the game at this level for now.

It really depends on what lvl wall breakers you want to stop and how much you want to slow down ground troops (air defence for flying). Bug in old lvl 8 th maxing to lvl 7 so I wouldn't know.
Walls are becoming less important for sure. So many air attacks in higher levels, and the WBS just blow them apart, just add another one! So unless all your defenses are maxed and u are willing to stay in th 9 for a bit, I wouldn't do the walls
