Who has ever spent money on gems?

That they do, to set up myself mentally for doing walls I got level 3 xbows as fast as I could, now I can sit back a bit more and level everything else up while I work on my walls.

I'm at th10 with half of my buildings maxed out and i've never spent a penny. master 3 is as high as i've got then released i was just maintaining my loot and not increasing it, so i float up and down between gold 3 & crystal 1

I find gems a waste of money.I'd rather wait 2 years for a maxed out base even if I am far from having one.

I spent a bit of money of this game but not a lot. It just makes the game better if you have gems :) think about how much people will pay for a new call of duty game???

I have never spent a dime on this game and i do it on purpose. I can afford them, but i chose not to gem
I have chosen Clash of Clans because i intend to play this game till it dies( yep i stick to one game and be good at it), gemming to speed things up will just take out the fun sooner.

As a software developer, I certainly understand that Supercell needs to get paid for the work they have done. And even though from reports they are getting loads of cash, I still want to contribute. I have played their games a lot and enjoy them very much. So I feel that I should pay some amount for a product I use. Also, I am able to pay, so why not.

I'm th9 and I agree w u :D I do not see ANY reason why should I spend money. I'm progressing good so far and I am hopping the game will stay in that way.

Just to speed up production I bought enough gems to buy 4 builders. The fifth one in my opinion isn't really needed at my current lvl 5 TH.

Now with the achievements they got you can get 5 builders for free :( lol
But yea gems are not NEED IT they're just worth to invest on if you don't have the time to play all day lol
spending 20$ gets you a boosted spell factory once a day for 250 days not a bad deal at all
