Watch your base get raided - LIVE!

Current reality:
When we defend - Our base becomes available for raids after a certain amount of time offline. And we receive a notification message when a raid has just been completed against our base.
When we attack - As we search we have 30 seconds to decide if we want to attack a base, or continue searching by clicking Next. A dropped troop means raid is ON. And we have 3 minutes to raise hell.

The idea -
I would enjoy watching my base get raided - LIVE.

To make this work -
It involves changing slightly the way we start a raid.
When we search we currently just click on an empty spot to drop a troop and there, raid is on.
(This also causes issues when a misclick occurs)
A new button that says "Attack". Pressing it would mean I made up my mind and want to attack this base right now, skipping the rest of the 30 seconds I had to consider it.
When this button is clicked two things happen:

• The attacker gets a 30 seconds countdown. which he CAN NOT skip and start the raid when he wants, this is the window for the base owner to log in. The attacker can think about his strategy at this time.
• The base owner gets a message saying his base is being attacked, he then can choose to log in or ignore it. He can log in at any time during the raid

At this time, if the owner decided to log in, he will not enter the normal Clash of Clans, he will not be able to chat or do anything the game offers, he will just see a live FEED of his base being raided. When the raid is over the screen will load and the owner can log in to tend to his destroyed base and the normal game features.

End Result-
When we defend- We get a message alerting that our base is about to be attacked, at which time we can choose to go see it or ignore it. The normal message saying our base was raided will also arrive when the raid is over.
When we attack- We get 30 seconds to decide attack or next, if attack is clicked we get 30 seconds to think over strategy, then we get 3 minutes to raid. (only difference is the added 30 seconds)
In this manner, we also eliminate the risk of dropping a troop by mistake, which happens a lot.

I hope I'm not the only crazy one out there interested in this,

Or just simplify it and say everytime your base gets searched, and that 30 second timer starts, you get a notification, and you have 30 seconds (at the most) to get online... Interesting idea though

Why would we need this? You can watch it 1 sec. after it so it doesn't have a point...

why do we watch sport games live when we can record it and watch it after?:cool:

Not simplifying the explanation, but the concept... The 2 sections ('how is it possible' and 'to make it work') make no sense... Rephrase them maybe

Also, you can Quote who you are replying to... Click the 'reply with quote' button of the post you want to respond to. To respond to multiple posts in one of yours (highly recommended so as to not double post) you can click the button directly to the right of the 'respond with quote' button.

select that button on all the posts you want to respond to, after your done, click the green 'Reply to Thread' button on the bottom right of the page

The difference between watching something live and watching the replay is when you watch it live you don't know the result as you are watching it, whereas when you watch the replay you already know the outcome.

That is another side of this idea that I didn't quite think a lot about. But you are absolutely right in my opinion.

That is an awesome idea

Due to the fact that CoC is a server based- game, this isn't technically feasible, or, I believe, possible. The game is not actually on your mobile device- instead, your device is connected to your account as soon as you log online, through your internet connection. Because of this it would be impossible to link your village to another player's screen, or vice versa, because it would require two accounts being intertwined and fed through the same server link, which could cause loss of both villages.

And we didn't know we could walk on the moon either. We only need another programme embedded in the gameplay to view live streaming. But it is possible. Also, adding a few zettabytes into the developers server system won't hurt.

Or your just watch the replies and analyze them, then make your changes...simple.

This is more or less a question of perspective.

When you replay it you see the outcome beforehand (win or lose and how big is the loss).
On the other hand watching it live makes you more alert to the attackers every move. Keeps you on your toes.

You can say all you want that it is untrue, its actually very true. Its psychological and logical.

And let's be honest, it's cool as hell. For us the players and for Super cell. This is a simple phone game, you want to tell me the developers wouldn't want to implement a feature that makes the players' hearts beat faster???
Creating thrill in a gamer's heart is every game's wet dream!

Let's make this simple, if you'r bank account doesn't have Super cell's gold in it, DO NOT come saying it's impossible, we aren't looking for that information, not from you.
Your part is to either like it or not, do you want this option or not?
That's all.

As for possible or not, if this picks up enough wind if at all, it will be reviewed by Super cell staff and we will see then.

So from now on, like or no like, anything else is just wind.
