Anyone else notice that they tend to lag a little when first deployed? I watched a few replays and it's been noticed in the clan. It's almost as though they think before they start to shoot, and then at that point.... a few are dead.
TH10's...did you prefer level 5 minions over level 6?
They visually appear to lag slightly but I'm not sure if the damage is actually lagged.
Sometimes when i deploy 10 minions they all carry on throwing at different speeds. Other times they start at different speeds, pause slightly, then all throw together at the same time.
Looks weird but i don't think total damage changes.
Anyone else?
I had the same with lvl 5 and lvl 6 so no change for me.
I have noticed this behavior with almost all troops. If a large number of any troops is present and their intended path changes (due to change in environment, buildings destroyed or walls destroyed) they seem to pause and take a few milliseconds to figure out what they are doing next.
They're just slow thinkers? A little dumber than the rest.

Very good observation!! I've been experiencing this problem since I've upgraded them to lvl6. Had no issue with lvl5 minis, but after deploying these, especially to deal with enemy cc troops or AQ, they start thinking whether they should attack or not! By the time they start shooting, some of them already in the mini heaven (or hell)!!
Perhaps need some adjusting!?
I noticed the lag with level 6 minions a few days ago too. I was luring an AQ out and it took about 5 more minions then it should have to kill her. Very noticable when the AQ was almost dead and I deployed 1 minion at a time and the AQ killed my minion before it even got a shot off.
when there is one barb left and running the whole map to go get that builder hut in corner and then come back... at some point they do take a pause (like if they were taking back their breath)
and they do pause too when moving in a direction then what they were aiming for is destroyed (they just take a sec to ask themself what is the best option now)
so i think it is just part of the AI
if everything were fluid in a way that would less represent real active combat.
but it do the same (maybe less but still) with defense... when they finish a troop, they just take the time to move around to aim another one then shoot
I've experienced the same thing, they still have the attacking animation yet nothing coming out after 1-2 seconds, very annoying especially when you have to kill the queen. She shoots too damn fast, and instantly.Quote:

It happens with Wizards and CC troops too. Whenever you deploy Wizards on a CC of 30 Archers the Wizards all shoot once but nothing comes out. Then the SECOND time they shoot they are usually dead. It is quite ridiculous and makes me angry:mad:
