I'd like to see if anyone is willing to give me examples of prices they sell at. Whether it is in the DT or to your neighbors, do you charge max? Do you have specials?

I charge most things at max price .... Cakes, sweets, pies, jewellery, animal feed, soup, bakery goods (except cornbread and muffins because I find they don't tend to sell as well so I sell them at a discount). And if I can sell surplus dairy and sugar products they go at max price but it's very rare I have surplus.
when it comes to crops, i sell produce that takes longer to grow at max price like tomatoes and potatoes. I regularly do some wheating so the wheat gets sold in bundles of 10 for 1 coin or I'll turn it into animal feed. Corns and carrots I sell at default price.
Since I have plenty of money I dont sell a lot of good stuff lately, but during my *funding streaks* my prices are normally:
eggs 10x 50
milk 10x 280
bacon 10x 400
wool 10x 450
goatmilk 10x 600
I dont like having stuff wandering alone in my shop and these prices normally clear it out quick enough :)
Also I tend to *wheat* a lot using corn, selling multi slots of 10x 20. I tried it with wheat but even at 10x 1 it doesnt sell well enough for my taste.
And now for the money makers, youdd be surprised how well low tier stuff sells. I have a bakery with max slots 3star, so if I know Ill be back in like 30 mins it pumps out bread 10x 216 (max) and regular popcorn also sells rather well 10x ? (max). Both of these items are commonly bought for people who need them for boating and since those often ask for rather high quantities I put them in large amounts in the shop for max pricing benefits.
Juices, cakes, pies always go for max price, however these are often asked for in lesser quantities so I sell them in lesser quantities as well. Like 3-5 items per bin so those who need them dont have to worry much about barnplace or leftovers.
Bush/tree products always 10x at max, although you might want to ignore apples. They dont profit a lot per saw and dont sell well.
Finally the *undesireables*, bacon and eggs 10x 1800 (no add, if someone wants them go and claim them but I plan to have them bought by NPC), blue hats 100e in whatever quantity I wish to get rid of, blue sweaters 10x 1800 (same tactic as with eggs and bacon). I also place these in the back of my shop, even though they are at lower price than max people dont often want them but every now and then I need to drop them out of my silo and Idd like to see some money from it. However I dont expect people to buy them so I drop them in the back not to hinder the sales of the stuff I do count on being sold.
Everything is always at maxed. All crops/plant/fruit (only crops I usually sell are potatoes, strawberries and cacao) are at maxed too. With the exception of wheat, they always go for 1 coin for a bundle of 10. Makes my life easier when wheating.
If a neighbour specifically requests an item, I'll put it up at default.
Everything max except B&E and wheat/corn - they are default
Eventually everything sells.
I sell eggs and wheat default, everything else max.
Items like eggs, bacon, wool, sweaters and scarves I sell for default price. Blue hats I discount. I rarely put bacon and eggs in my shop, only if I've accidentally clicked on someone's stack of 10 that I didn't want haha.
Most of the other items are full price or given a discount.....anywhere from 20-50 coins depending on what it is. Dairies and sugars are always full price.
animal feed I discount, except goat feed because it takes so long to make. Chicken feed is default, cow and pig @ 100 and sheep 110. I have a few lower level followers that'll come and buy my discounted feed and sell it max in their shop. That's cool, I don't care.
all basic produce and rice is default price. Produce that takes longer to grow, lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes, etc is full price or slightly discounted. All tree and shrub goods are full price or slightly discounted.
I sell almost everything at max, including muffins, cornbread and the like. The only things I discount are bacon, wool, and bacon/eggs during the off chance I accidentally bought some (of the latter). The discount depends on my mood, but it's usually 10-15% (except for accidental bacon/eggs which I unload for default).
Wheat - 10 for 1 coin
Carrots - default (10 for 20)
Corn - default (10 for 20)
All other produce I sell at full price.
I think my wheat is only crop that I put up for cheap prices.
Wheat: 10x 1coins or 10 x10 coins.
Sometimes, I put up my eggs at default or max prices, depends if I am using them for a wheat decoy.
The other products and crops are usually at max prices. Unless I accidentally press a button wrong. :o
Everything at max except wheat which goes to the little serial killers. Everything always goes. This morning there was just red scarves left. Dropped an ad on them and in five minutes they were also gone.
