rushing the hall

i always told myself that i would max out all my buildings before beginning the next hall upgrade, but now im thinking on rushing it only because i want to get the lv5 and 6 troops. i know people say its bad to rush the hall, but whats the good side? will you guys please tell me the pros and cons about rushing the hall? thanks.

Pros:
New stuff!!!!


Cons:
harder to get the new stuff because of the loot penalty
Will have forum members yelling at you for rushing it

It depends on how bad you rush it. If you are level 75 with several things maxxed and have a good grasp of the game, you will be fine. If you are level 50 and just want the goodies, I wish you a speedy (relative term) recovery.



Edit: woops, you meant TH 8 not 9. TH 8 isn't that bad as long as you already have level 4 troops and maxxed army camps.

I rushed to TH 8 to get the max level troops (at that time) and the extra walls that give you more possible setups.

I never regret doing so. Im active and I never have problems in getting my resources and my builders are always busy. Im staying at TH 8 until its upgraded all the way caus I am feeding on Th 7's and that is not possible when I upgrade to TH 9.

I am upgrading my walls now to level 8 from the extra gold that I cant spend on my tower upgrades because the builders are busy.

So if you are active its not a real problem.

But I think not many forum members will agree with me.

so along with paying more gold for every match search, you also get a loot penalty when your hall is upgraded? what does that mean?

You will always have a loot penalty when your raiding a TH thats 2 or more levels lower then you.

you are now TH 7 so you can raid TH 6 without penalty. When you upgrade to TH8 you get a 50% penalty if you raid a TH 6. But you can raid TH 7 without problems.

oh ok that made perfect sense, thanks. by loot penalty i thought that you earned less in battles, lol.

Um.. you do earn less in battles; there is LESS avaiible loot for you.

When you rush to from Th7-to Th9
Pro: unlock more option(+75 extras wall, building, weapon ,etc...)
Con: loot penalty: 2 Th lower you get 50% penalty, 3 Th lower 75%
When your defense is ♥♥♥♥ ... You get rapped all the time! And you wish you don't make this step to rush your hall to early
when your troops is low lvl and don't have capacity from 200 is hard for you to raid them!
you need amount of gold to buy or upgrade those defense and you and you are busy all the time to upgrade your under lvl defense building and other!
