archers or barbs?
For me Archers because it has a decent amount of Elixirs (cheaper) to be spent and the damage and training time is a factor I think.

giants > archers > barbs
Unless your clan is particular about donating archers, then archers first.

I would have to agree with the Giant>Archer>Barb. Giants get a pretty sizable upgrade at level 6. When I think of upgrading troops I go with troops I use for my normal attack.
While I understand how good level 6 archers are, I think level 6 Giants and Balloons get the most notable increase in stats so I would go with them first.
In my opinion giants and ballons are the most important troop to upgrade to lvl 6, because they get the biggest increase. But it also depends what you use and what your clan mates request the most.
