Im TH7, almost maxed out everything including walls. Was thinking whether its a good idea to upgrade all barracks to LVL9 before starting the TH8 upgrade?

Why not? Imagine getting to train dragons with all your rax.

Sometimes when I'm desperately in need of troops I can use all of them. For example, I need dragons fast, so I can make my upgraded barracks train a couple of dragons at the same time. If you have one upgraded barrack and the rest are low levels (can't train dragons), you need to wait for the upgraded one to deal with a few dragons, then after that continue with the rest cuz it can't fit. So in this case, it takes more time.
Make sense? Unless, you have troop composition of archers or barbs or gobs it's not necessary to upgrade your barracks. But I prefer to upgrade them, cuz upgraded barracks can train more variety of troops anytime you need them.
im th 8 and I have 3 level 5 barracks and 1 level 7. I don't dont need the extra level barracks.
I only use barbs, archers, gob, giants and wb's. And when Im upgrading my barracks my raiding is tooo slow.
And after a raid I can fill my barracks to get the full 200 troops. So the queue is just big enough.
I just finished upgrading my balloons to level 5 so I am going to upgrade my level 7 barrack to level 10, so I can upgrade my higher level troops.
I dont see any reason to upgrade the other barracks
Im currently upgrading my barracks slowly, only because i make a full army of dragons/pekkas before bed so i can donate them in the morning.
On the other hand if i didn't do this then i would only upgrade 1 barracks to level 10 and the rest i would do every now and then just for the longer que.
Good points out there, I would just like to add some of mine
Cons:
1. Troop training really suffers when barracks are being upgraded. (one barracks at LVL9, others are at LVL7 - so atleast 3 days to go on each of the three non upgraded ones.)
2. My 'bread and butter' army only includes 1 (or max 2) high-level troops (like healer or dragons), so my lone barracks has been serving me good till now - but if I upgrade to TH8, i might need more dragons to attack the TH9's.
3. I have waited sooo long for maxing out my TH7, extends my wait a big longer....
Pros:
1. Queue lengths.
2. Got a ton of elixir and dunno what to do with it, might as well spend it on barracks upgrades (i am upgrading DE storage now!!!!lol!!)
If you guys can also chk out my base and let me know what you think, would appreciate it..

Your army camp is 200 space.
After a match when you used all 200 troops, you can't queue all your troops, afk, come back and get 200 troops lol.

When u have excess elixir, u want to train something other than your bread and butter army.
I enjoy sending hoardes or dragons to visit those TH5 bases. Loots? Who cares? Chief's got to have a little play time sometimes.
You can que more wbs to hide more elixir!
