I am going to be using some money on gems. Heroes or walls?

LOL, you got three choices as you get close to champs.
1. Gem it all, and attack, attack, attack. By far the easiest approach. Pay to play, baby!
2. Boost SF, heros and barracks. Not too bad you get to attack every 30-40 minutes. But for the love of god do not put your ipad down! Else here comes GOWIWI and level 40 heros!
2. Go stingy on spells and wait for them to cook. No boosting at all. Hooray to watching TV for 3hrs touching your ipad all the time! All just to get to attack again for 8 cups! Woot, it gets even FUNNER when you a loose an attack. -29 cups, that is only 8-12 hrs of solid game play unboosted!

Then the instant you log off prepared for max army and heros to come visit you! If you are lucky it is some guy from 3600 raiding you for 1 cup. Yhea, top level game play seems about as fun as a root canel!

I think we are misunderstanding each other. Some people recommended that he should boost barracks and farm for the resources, which is why I said he should practice raiding without spells because farmers don't use spells.

The point of this thread is to ask if he should gem walls or heros, but 200 dollars will barely be able to upgrade anything because the resources are very expensive. He could just farm for both at a lower trophy level and save gems by boosting all barracks and only the spell factory/pumps as a bonus.

@OP, If you don't want to farm, then I guess just gem your Heros. 200$ should be able to get you a few levels, but then all that money would be gone so fast, and raiding is so much more fun in my opinion. You can decide what you want though.

1. Invest the time to farm the gold and dark elixir for walls and heros while boosting.
Cost = $200 and time. Reward = Lots of walls will be upgraded, and some hero levels as well depending on how well you farm dark elixir. If you farm for both gold and dark elixir at the same time, you should be able to constantly keep both hero's upgraded without overflowing in dark elixir because you're also farming for gold. Don't farm for only dark elixir in this situation, because then you may overflow in dark elixir and will have to gem the hero upgrade time in order to spend the dark elixir.

2. Instantly gem heros or walls.
Cost = $200 dollars. Reward = A few levels on both heros and you will be able to use them in raids instantly, or a few walls.

I just feel that boosting would stretch the value of your gems a bit more, but at the cost of time!

IMO, I wouldnt waste my money on a video game. Its just pixels and numbers.

I'd say neither lol, for 40 gems to boost your barracks you can make 3-5mil in 2hours and upgrade Aton of walls, same can be done when de farming

First of all Builders are first priority. But if it was Heroes or walls i would say heroes.

I think im going to stretch the gems out. Purchasing DE is extremely expensive. 5,523 gems to fill DE storage from 0. thats ridiculous. Thank you guys again for the input. Very much appreciated!:D
