I woke up today to find another guy attacked my Mini with the usual giant/barch/wizards composition and only got 20 % before the dragon killed all his troops .g.

I have a level 3 clan castle, and usually I try to get two or three wizards level 4 and up and the rest archers level 4 and up. In my opinion that's the best set of troops if you can't get a dragon in your clan castle.

Usually using dragons for attacks though, the other combination for defending my village when I'm not online. :)

I'm not saying a dragon is the best choice for a high level Account, but for a TH6 it rocks.
Makes the base pretty much unbeatable, because the kind of attackers you get at that level don't know how to deal with it and don't have the troops that can.
So if you have a Mini or if you are a Low Level player, find somebody that donates a Dragon Level 3 or 4 to you :)
The good thing is that you can use the dragon for ~4 attacks (in my expereince), as it survives most of the attacks.

P.S.:
My Mini has gone to TH7 now, I will continue this defense tactic. Base is just extended a little from the TH6 one, but the same layout and a dragon in the castle. Will keep you posted :)

Hehe, next time try having wizards in ur cc

If you really want a good defense, use lvl 6 goblins :p I realized dragons just don't work for defense once you're town hall 8 or higher, as said in previous posts!
