Not sure if you guys are following the sky 9 cup hunt and the friendly battle brewing between Johcamp (Avarice Legends) and WitelightningHWD (The Fog) for the Th9 Cup record. Currently Johcamp holds the title at 3717 which was previously held by Wite at 3712.
Congratz to 2 AWESOME players! Let's see how far they can go.....
Top 200 for wite seems to be the current goal. He has a YouTube channel and on there he has released his thoughts to go for Top 200 as a TH9 so he may or may not make it. If Joh follows him this will truly be an epic battle between two amazing clashers!:cool:Quote:

I met wite in global in his th8 days before he became such a well known player and knew he was the real deal. I expect these guys to dominate the global leaderboards when they finally max out th10 sometime down the line. Modest guy and and an awesome (entertaining) youtuber as well. Im looking forward to watching their developing battle.

That's at 3000. Now add in the 2 hours+ of clouds at 3800, then add in the fact that you can't queue extra spells. That's 1-2 attacks every log in and you can lose 15-39 on every defense.Quote:

Oh god! Jorge did 4000 when TH9 was TH10. There was no TH10 so there was no competition. Technically he holds the TH9 record IN ALL but it isn't for real when comparing the TH9s of today with his era. Truth be told I was perfectly happy with 3717 and will be. I'm a farmer at heart and I've hard five idle builders for the last two weeks. Excruciating!
It has been a real pleasure competing with wite during this run and I'm glad I had him to spur me on. In case you guys didn't know, he's been on champs for a month with his th9..,,pretty darn impressive.
I'm done with clouds until my th10 and heroes are ready later on. When they get there I will give it another serious go. I'm content now to cheer on my bro wite! Too 200 or bust!
As far as gems, yes i boosted heroes a couple of barracks and spells, but it would be absolutely moronic and pointless not to. If you aren't prepared to pay $5 a day to push then my recommendation would be just to forget about it. Gemming those things made the game much more enjoyable and I don't or won't ever regret it. I spend more than $5 on lunch everyday so $5 for a days worth of entertainment is one heck of a deal in my eyes.
As far as skill, I don't claim to be a great trophy raider, but it does take some degree of "skill" to win raids consistently up there. At some point gemming an army doesn't help as it only serves to bury folks in successive losses. When the cup offering is 4 and the loss is 38 you had better not lose back to back raids.......
anyways it was a great experience playing a great game. Cannot wait to try it as a Th10!
