Bigger Disadvantage

I recently went without spells for 6 days as a TH10



For me no spells is far worse than no heros. Heros are great but I only use them for that last few percentage. That and I am almost always upgrading one, so I have more experience with not using them. Plus, I like to balloon raid - 1 rage spell can make a huge difference when looning (since they are so slow)


When I was Th 7 or 8 it would of been a much tighter race. I barched and bamed allot, so I didn't use spells very often. That and the cool down for my heros was much less if they got KOed in battle.

No heroes, struggle without them, i only use lightning to zap!!

I was about to do 2 days with 2 barracks... i stopped one since i thought it was non-sense.. still, cooking army with 3barracks is painfull

no spells would make some of the best strategies worthless, such as hog horde(heal spell) and looniun (rage spell)

OP didn't mention farming...

Also, both heroes and spells are critical in certain cases of farming if it helps you to take more loot than what you would have gotten otherwise. Farming dark elixir for example. Farming in high crystal-Master league. In both cases heroes and spells are almost always beneficial if not essential to get what you want.

The fact that spells now cost elixir as opposed to gold only furthers this. You can spend the extra elixir guilt free if your goal is extra gold or especially well protected dark elixir. Spells and heroes can often mean the difference between a successful farm, and a failed one, or the difference between 2 storages and 4.

I swear some people think farming only happens at 1200 cups...


Now I don't mean to say that they are more important for farming than in pushing, as that would be foolish. But I really can't see why this quandary has prevented you from voting or why it confuses you. Ask the question for both scenarios if you must. When farming, which is a bigger disadvantage to have offline? When pushing, which is a bigger disadvantage to have offline?
