Point Defense Counter Spell: Spirit Link
First, point defenses are defenses that have single target attacks, very much all defenses currently other than WT, mortars and the multi mode disco infernos.
Description: The spirit link enables troops on the battlefield to share their pain. But beware, while one will never fall alone, all mightl fall together within the boundaries of this powerful spell.
The spell Spirit Link drops a circle of power similar to current spells in coc. All friendly troops within the spell radius will have their health 'linked' to one another and share the damage taken by any and all troops within the circle..
example:
There is a group of 10 barbarians with 100 hitpoints each hitting an archer tower. The archer tower that does 100 damage per shot attacks this group of barbarians. Normally, each shot will kill a barbarian, reducing their numbers one by one and this simply reduces the total dps of the barbarians gradually while they are trying to demolish the AT. After 5 shots, only 5 barbs are left and they dont have enough dps anymore to destroy the archer tower and results in the defeat of the barbarians.
The same situation, but with spirit link dropped on top of the attacking barbarians. The spell enables the barbs to share their injuries, thus all 10 barbs take an equal 10 damage for each 100 damage from the AT arrows. After 5 shots by the AT, there are still 10 barbs left but with 50 hp each. Their total dps are still the same as when they started attacking the AT. Result: barbs took down the archer tower.
The spirit link would have a lesser effect on splash and multi targeting towers as total damage recieved by a group are incresed when taking fire from these towers, but they are still distributed evenly to all troops within one circle of the spell.
The major weakness of the spirit link are the single target inferno towers, seeing that troops that share their health are essentially one big pile of hitpoints, they dont have to switch targets and heat up continously at one target while damaging the rest at the same time. The extremely devastating damage of a heated single target infernos will make short work of a large group of troops under the effect of this spell.
Troops with different amount of hp will be killed at different times. Meaning, if a golem and a barb are effected with this spell together, and the golem takes a devastating shot of 200 damage, the golem would share this damage with the barb and gets the barb killed while the golem only takes half the damage.
The spell effect is only active within each circle of power and multiple stacks of the spell on the same location would not have any further effects.
The spell will not distribute any healing done to friendly troops.

research cost: 5 mil; 7.5 mil elixir
Spell effect: 75% of damage shared; 88% damage shared; 100% damage shared
Brewing time: 30 minutes and 1 second
Area of effect: 5 tiles
Spell duration: 15 seconds
requires spell factory level 4 (this is because having a level 6 factory also gives 6 slots of spells and unless defenses are more powerful, 6 spell slots would kill any current base)
Also, using this spell together with the current heal spell will have a very powerful effect (all takes damage, all gets healed)
