Can i upgrade my giant to lvl 6 with gems while my storages are not enough?

Hi.. this might be the stupidest question..but i need to ask as im getting bored with this game n try to spend my gems. Currently, my elixir storage only can hold 3.5 mil, can i still upgrade my giant to lvl 6 using gems right away? Or i still need to upgrade my storages first? Thnks

You need to upgrade storages first!

Yeah stupid me..coz i maxed only those need less than 3.5mil elixir n gold. And i got bored so i upgrade my th to th9..☺

Hi atjandra,

Yes, you can gem giants to level 6 even though your storages are not enough. Open the lab, select giants, click upgrade, and it will ask if you want to buy the missing elixir with gems; press yes and the upgrade should start.

Enjoy the level 6 giants!

I see. I dunno if you'r bored because of the difficulties of a premie village but theirs a thread stuck at the top about what to do to fix it. or you can start over. going that high up without maxing everything at different TH levels makes the game difficult.

Or maybe you did it cause you dont like the game and are messing around. no idea. lol.

I think i got bored because i played to intensely for these 6 months.. i maxed out def except teslas n 1 air def at th8.. reached 200+ skull walls.. i could max everything but then it could become even more boring.. n i want to give my clanmates new stuff like witches..so i upgraded my th to th9.. ☺.. i guess i just not a real gamer.

I don't think so, you need enough storage capacity to contain the amount of elixir required for upgrade. Same with gold storage or DE storage.

Agree with the previous post, gotta have room in storage, even though elixer goes straight to upgrade.

Yup..confirmed..must upgrade the storages first.. i tried n failed.. case closed. Thanks for any responses..
