Hello, fellow Texan! You make jewelry from bars, which are made from ore. Production time varies from metal to metal and is lengthy no matter what (even if your smelters are fully mastered). My best advice I can give you is to let those be a "back burner" crop, meaning load your production queues and then forget about them. You will be pleasantly surprised when you see those ingots, or bars, sitting on their little tables. If you need bars in a hurry, employ Tom. And make him bring you NINE of them, or at worst, eight. Never settle for the piddly seven he tries to bring.
Hope that helps!
Yes it's bars. I find it hard to keep up, even with 4 smelters, so I use tom for jewlery when I can.
No wonder it was so easy to sell off my bars from my one measly smelter! I didn't foresee needing them. Thanks for the help.
Oh indeed! I jump on bars in stores like a hungry chicken on a fat caterpillar. Get another smelter or two so you can have all three kinds of bars "cooking" at the same time. I have all five smelters allowed and keep them busy 24/7. Two of them are reserved for silver because necklaces and bracelets both need two silver bars each, so it makes sense to harvest two at a time. My other three smelters are for platinum (1) and gold (2), though I sometimes use the 5th smelter for platinum if I find I have too many gold bars.
