yep, problem seems to be back again.
avatars on the boats are 'default' again.
what i notice as well, is that resolving of the avatars in the friends-bar is intermittent and very slow as well.

Help! My profile picture no longer shows when I help to fill crates. My friends pictures do not show either. Everyone appears as a generic pic. I have tried to log out of facebook as well as Game Center. I have completely closed hay day and I have also tried restarting my iPad. Nothing seems to help. I still get the generic pics. This happened very suddenly.:mad:

I understand that this issue is being worked on but it has been 2 weeks already!😢 I really feel this is affecting gameplay because at times it's difficult to see who has helped you, especially on boat crates. Since we're now having a boat event I really hope this gets fixed soon. I really didn't think it would be so annoying to not have a picture😣

It's kinda nice to see that although we're the most 'active' regarding this issue, the 'views' count for this topic is by far the largest in the bugs&issue subforum.
This leads me to believe that there might be more people interested in the outcome.
I know I will be very happy to see this problem resolved! It is most annoying to continually see default pics. I love playing but this problem has caused me to slow down on playtime. I have tried everything to no avail. I want to see my friends and my own profile pic again!
They are still working on trying to figure out why this is happening. It's possible that it may be on FB's end and not SC's. As annoying as this situation is, it does not keep people from playing the game. Issues that DO prevent people from playing the game take priority...no matter how many views a thread has.
As to thread views, if a mod, checks a thread 5 times a day, then it registers as 5 views. If someone who posted to a thread, comes back a few times to see who else posted to it, each view registers. So, if 3 people each view the thread 5 times, it registers as 15 views even though only 3 people have ever looked at.
EDIT: My moderator tools say that 48 people have opened this thread and viewed it over the 2 weeks since it was created...hardly the most viewed thread in the bugs section. I alone, as a moderator, have opened this thread dozens of times.
To add to all of that, is the fact that there is something wrong with the view counter. It's a known issue but is not a priority so I've no idea when it will be fixed. This is not the first time the issue has come up nor will it be the last.
