I'm on level 57, and can now buy olive trees, however, I can't use them until the next level. Is this a glitch? Right now, I'm enjoying making money on selling olives, but it seems too bad that I can't use them for goodies. :cool:

There is always the possibility that a boat or truck order will ask for them, but other than that, yep, need to wait for the salad machine to actually make anything with them. ;)
And when you get the sauce machine, they make olive oil, which a sandwich and I think a salad uses, plus you need olive oil to make mayo which salads and sandwiches use. So keep growing those olives, they should sell well.Quote:

While I do not know the growthtime of an olive tree, my experience from previous new crops/bushes/trees are you would like to grow some before the real products are unlocked. If you start up the fruit production before they are asked for you have a stockpile to draw from. Like when I unlocked the coffeebush+kiosk I immediatly got several bushes growing simply because fruits more often than not take way longer to produce than the machine can process them.
