Attack range?

I've played other games similar to CoC and they use a Level system for attacking instead of trophies.

I think this would be useful to use your LEVEL when attacking someone instead of trophies.

Its frustrating to see a lvl 92 attack me when I'm only a lvl 55. Its not even close to fair that they can drop to lower leagues and just DESTROY lower level players and take what resources they have.


I'm new here and this has probably been brought up, but was wondering what others thought about it. Maybe have the ability to attack someone who's level is 5 higher or 5 lower than your own?

If you are that worried someone else has already posted something like this, please use the search function. It will ease all those worries, I would like to point out, that there are some really high levels. But still fairly low when it comes to TH, or base. As they have either maxed out, or Town Hall rushed.

They invented leagues obviously with the intention that advanced people stay on the advanced leagues and avoid the simpler and easier defeated targets, this did not last long. Many ideas have been arised about a league limit, my advice. Ignore it...

Why not simply attack based only on the level of the player? That would better guarantee an even fight, either for defending or artacking.

uhh search system is terrible ...I tried searching up something and it gave me a bunch of random threads

Apparently this hasn't been brought up.

I understand what the league system is for, but it doesn't work. Why stay in a higher league where its harder to defend/attack when you could go to lower ones?

That's why a level based attack/defend idea would be much better. Like battle pirates, the Facebook game. You can only attack 5 levels above or below and it keeps it more fair

This is a good idea however you are forgetting one very important thing. In clash, your level does not directly indicate strength of base. This game has level 200's that would get steamrolled by a lower level bought base. This attack style would actually hurt the game alot. So many people would completely stop donating in order to keep their level low,to have easier bases to attack. I get where you want to go with it, but it is not a good idea for this particular game due to the levelling system used.

1. Don't get exp when you donate then.
2. Most exp is gained from building/researches, indicating those with a higher level have better troops/researches/defenses
3. It would give a much more even field than what there is now

Its just far too late for that brother. The damage is done look at some of the high donating clans youll see levels over 200. What are u gonna do, drop all their levels? Its too late for what your asking for and frankly just not needed, in my humble opinion that is.

People who are higher level and higher th's don't stay in lower leagues because of the loot penalty. At th8 you loose 25% of loot.

I know what you are going through bro. I once thought like you did. And when you want to revenge that player, and you found out he has better defences and walls, you're thinking, how the hell am i suppose to revenge him??? For me, at the back of my mind, i keep reminding myself, well, i did steal it too...hope this helps in your game bud.
