Upgrading Walls Question

I have a th-7, with all level 6 walls, should I upgrade outer walls first to level 7 walls or do the inside where the dark elixir and other valuables are stored?

Your base design and your defense level will all affect where you place your walls. Assuming you have a base layout that uses some kind of cells to maximize wall effectiveness:

1.) Defenses max or nearly so - upgrade outer walls first

2.) Lower level defense - Upgrade walls around storages/cc/TH first

I don't think it really matters where you are with defense upgrades.

Typically, people use wall breakers on the outer walls and then rely on troops to break through the inner walls. Because of this, it makes sense to do the inner walls first when upgrading. Why? Because lvl 6 and lvl 7 walls takes the same number of wall breakers unless the attacker is using lvl 1 or lvl 6 walls breakers. A TH7 base is not going to be attacked too often by someone will lvl 6 wall breakers. So, the higher level walls will make no difference to the wall breakers used. On the other hand, troops getting into the core of the base will take longer to break through lvl 7 walls than lvl 6. So, your remaining defenses will have more time to pound of the attacking troops while they try to break down the lvl 7 walls.

Inside first, outside walls will get breached no matter what level by wbs. Sometimes giants will try to break into the core and struggle for along time while defenses pick them apart. But these days it doesn't matter because most raids people bring at least 8-10 wbs.

Different people will give you different advice on this. I would say 65% will say inner first, and the remaining 35% will say outer first.

I agree with inner first, since the typical base has stuff they want to protect behind inner walls, not outer walls.

Thats correct, and was going to answers the same. I do inside walls first myself for the same reason. You are welcome to visit my base, as I am in process of upgrading walls myself.

I always upgrade the walls at the junctions, the I start upgrading the inner walls.

You know how in most bases, some compartments get intersected? Like if u break that one walls u can get access into like 2 or 3 other compartments. I put my highest lvl walls there and the remaining on my most important buildings
