Hey guys, I am a level 7 town hall trying to reach Crystal II.
That is hard for me as I get attacked a lot while I am in Crystal III
I would like a base design that is capable of surviving in crystal.
Post your base designs or tell me your clan and your In-game name.
I only use archers on town hall to get trophies.
Any advice or help would be appreciated
*Also please do not say you can't survive or you should drop because I will ignore your advice.*

Sorry dude but to be honest in crystal as a th7 you just need to rely on offense you will be 3 starred almost every time by town hall 10s no matter how good your base is. But good luck on getting to c2!

Try this I've never tested it on crystal but in silver it works http://i.imgur.com/vru1nq1.jpg , if that doesn't work your going to have to accept u can't win with th7 and put the th in the outside and get lucky if a nice person will just attack ur th and leave, only making u lose fewer trophies
I gotta agree with those saying put your TH outside, then you will maybe get picked of for a one star more often instead of 3 star. i can say for myself i can 3star any TH7 layout with just a standard barch army as a TH9. Offensive is definitely key for TH7 and even TH8 in the crystal league.
Almost anybody there can rock your base. I would recommend putting your TH on the outside and hopefully, someone will be nice and snipe your TH.
I would love to share some bases with you however, being a town hall 7 your really out of luck. You'll get wiped by townhall 8 and 9s every time. Best of luck :) sorry I couldn't help.
As other poster stated it is all about offense and basically sniping or hitting weakly defended TH mostly not behind walls. You probably already get that.
I use a modified TH7 'Pokeball' design one of the more experienced players developed (Junliang I think?) and I use it to stay in Crystal I (yes stay, not push not drop back). I am a noob TH 7 so don't have teslas yet hence it is 'modified', just got to TH7 last week. I went to Masters for the gems as TH 6 to get the 4th builder hut and started dropping down but realized all my builders were busy so why not go to TH 7 cuz DE is easier to come by up here. I am sticking around C1 now to help with BK and minions. Eventually I'll drop back.
Leave the TH outside just in case you get lucky and someone is OK with using their AQ (or other troop but AQ doesn't cost them anything) to snipe and get a few trophies while giving you a shield. I personally play 2x a day but for a couple-few hour sessions and sessions are about 11 hours apart. Most of the time you will get 3 starred and sometimes up to 59 trophies on revenge (the nastiest revenge I have faced was 59, uuugh) but sometimes you get lucky and only lose maybe 7-10 from a sniper or gracious upper level Townhall player.
Don't start multiplayer battles obviously unless you have a chunk of time and don't play more than a few times a day because when you log off you likely will get hit fast.
I'm only sticking around Crystal I until BK hits level 5 due to the stress of having to regain lost trophies when logging off LOL but Crystal I is a nice place to hunt DE.
Just make sure you gain back near the amount of trophies you lost when attacked and push a bit when time allows if you are heading up. It gets tough sniping above 2500 so I stay in the 2300s after being above 2400 when leagues start again (have to be at least 2400 to be Crystal I but then can drop down to 2300s and still stay once you have received your league designation).
Anyhow, ya the 'Pokeball' modified design works alright but obviously if someone wants to hit you, you probably will be 3 starred. Sorry I couldn't find a link to the design to put here but you should be able to look it up. :D Good luck!
There isn't a single th7 base that will hold up in crystal. The best strategy is to use a farming base, hoping that people will go for just your town hall and not the rest of your base. Don't expect to win any defenses. In fact just Not getting three starred in crystal is a pretty big achievement for a th7. I speak from experience. Hope this helps :)
