Lost thank-you cards!!!!!

I spent a great deal of time yesterday watering trees and bushes and filling the crates of total strangers if I could. Being a newby I needed to help and needed to learn. When I opened my thank you card box it looked like there was a ton and I was grateful for everyone doing that. I hit "collect all" and suddenly the cards flew out and they were gone, and so were the 30 I had been holding onto. I need someone to restore all my hard work to me!!!! I've spent some cash to get myself up to speed on this game and I deserve to have the cards. Where do I write??????

They are supposed to disappear when you collect them. What will get stored from the collecting process will be any gift cards that were included in those 30 daily thank you letters. Those gift cards will be added to your new gift card total that will show on the front of your catalog (??/40).

You will receive a maximum of 5 gift cards a day within those 30 max/per day thank you letters. You can have a max of 40 gift cards, at which point, you'll have to purchase something from the catalog to use some up. Then you'll have room to store more of the 5/day max gift cards that may be included in the 30/day max thank you letters you receive.

So, you've not lost anything. You collected the letters and the gift cards included. You will now start a new pile of thank you letters. The next time you collect them, they will disappear again, adding any included gift cards to your new total...??/40.

Nope, not for me. It took the 30 gift cards that I had already and left me with 5 total, period. This is a glitch. There is a problem. I was saving up for the 40 card item. I had 30, plus whatever came in that big day, and now I have 5.

:(:( So, you don't mean that the letters disappeared when you collected them, you mean 30 stored gift cards disappeared when you collected the most recent pile of thank you letters, giving you the newest 5 daily gift cards but taking away the 30 you already had saved.

First, double check to make sure that you didn't accidentally buy a mystery package...check all decor and your farm for anything new. If you can find nothing, if you've not already done so, please place an in-game support ticket so this issue can be looked into.

Yes, that's correct. I had either 30/40 or 35/40 and was trying to get to 40/40 and everything exploded. I didn't buy anything by accident, there were no boxes sitting at my doors and nothing in the pop up decorations on the bottom left, everything is just plain gone gone gone. I have 5/40 and I worked hard yesterday to get points, filling others crates with things I later needed and had to buy and opening every exclamation point I came across. All gone but 5.

I was saving gift cards, had over twenty one day (not thank you notes, gift cards) and the next day was back to zero. This happened three times. I wrote to support who suggested I accidently purchased the mystery package.....but I did not. I could find no packages hidden behind buildings or trees etc.
