I just reached TH8 and I have 300 gems remaining after getting my 4th builder. I am wondering how to get the 5th builder without using money.
I completed most of the achievements and even if I reach masters, I will only get 1000 gems which are still not enough to reach 2000. The other achievements like destroying 250 x bow and inferno towers are not easy and even if I managed to destroy them , I cant reach 2000 gems.
Remember... you are in a way better position than old players because, before the update, you could get max 3 gems from removing obstacles.
I've seen several people actually was able to get their 5th builder by collecting those...
It took a while, but they did it. And it's much faster nowadays.
Also, once reaching the master's league, you will have 1300. That really isn't bad at all to start with.
This game is designed to take a long time to do anything.
Enjoy your 4th builder and when the time comes, after not wasting gems for boosts and stuff, you will get there ;)
How long have you been playing?
It took me more than a year cutting trees and doing achievement to get my 5th builder (i got it mid th9).
Nowadays, it's much easier to get, since SC just increased the amount of gem for obstacle.
All you need is patience.
I played for around 3 months. Looks like there is no other way besides waiting
I only have 2 builders i had got 450 gems but i wasted them on silly things i will b doing gemming so that i can get more builders patience is the key in this game
patience... you need to collect them by chopping trees
you can get from achievements too
this is some good rewards that's doable without waiting too much:
- Destroy 2000 TH, 50 gems
- Destroy 2500 Huts, 30 gems
- Defend 250 attacks, 50 gems
- Donate 25000, 250 gems
- Destroy 250 xbows, 100 gems
- Destroy 10 infernos, 100 gems
what's your highest trophy count?
You get 1000 gems for reaching master and, if I remember rightly,
it's 450 gems for the second star in that category.

Reach Champion League (3200 trophies), you get 2000 gems.Quote:
