I'm on th 6 now....plz advice me on this...should I max out or get to th7..only because of th extra defenses n camps n de..also the lv4 troops..
th6 doesnt help me reach til gold easily..

even as a TH7, I would stay away from the Gold leagues, as you will only get raided there by strong TH8 players.
It only took me about 3 weeks to max TH6, (including walls).
IMO, I like to max TH's before moving on, I'm in no rush to jump my TH.
walls almost done....the thing tat bothers me is tat ..th7 gives too much extra things compared to th6..I have been maxing till th5..so it gives th edgeQuote:

Definitely max first - you'll have to catch up at some point otherwise and that takes a long time.
I've been stuck at TH7 for forever for just this reason.

Max your offenses (troops, spells, barracks). Other upgrades just depend on your play style. There really isn't a right or wrong way. Just don't fall too far behind because you want a new shiny object.

My maxout th7 reached crystal with some effort after gold-1, I had hogs lvl2 and heal spell lvl4. Which helped in getting 50% or bit more on good bases in crystal. This game is journey, do not skip any portion you can live... I still remember getting 12 million loot with lvl3 troops was so hard ... when doing my pink walls. Thats when I started learning farming the right way... had done that with lvl3 troops, farming with lvl5 troops seems so easy and clean now. You learn and perfect distraction tricks or moves when farming with lvl3 troops more than .. with a stronger one. Thus makes you a better attacker or a farmer with higher lvl troops.... u get that extra edge.
I would say "MAXING is the best option" at any th.

actually if you enjoy your easy ride... then go ahead max your TH...
but If you're bored and looking for more challenging game, more faster progress and development... then go ahead upgrade to TH7
There is actually no harm to go th7 even th8 early... most of my clan mates did it and that's fine and they progress more faster (I did it too, you can check my sigs for my journey).
TH9 is a bit different story, you should have maxed your farming troops and no elixir problems before you can go there.
TH10 is the whole different, you're entering the last stage of the game... You should prepare everything before you get there.
