Hi, But maybe your follower needs some money to buy machine for example...so try to look. Sometimes i help followers that way, i sell 1 coin so that they can make money to buy machines. Which is also a way to help...

I know this thread is beating a dead horse and all of this and more has already been said. I had to delete a follower today repeatedly for clearing out everything I had in my rss. It was someone I had helped and never helped me. That's fine, go ahead, again, we are all entitled to our own playing style. But I do not need to keep a follower if I don't want to. I have been trying to keep my rss stocked to help out specific low level players and if others can benefit from that, great! Helping is one of my favorite parts of the game. However, we each have our line and this person crossed mine. It's ok. I'm not going to stress about it. Just delete! See ya! Hopefully soon I will not show up on their "recent helpers" tab and more people will benefit from my rss. Instead of just one person. Repeatedly. All day every day.
Hi sonnie & welcome to the forum .
I'm going to put a different spin on your post , as we know there are so many different ways to play HD.
As you can see from my sig I'm at level 74 and most players at this level have so many coins, we really don't know what to do with them .
When I started playing this game nearly 2 years ago I always followed 5 people that sold at default price or less and I would sell at max price. When they realised they could sell their goods at a higher prices I could delete them & find another farm selling cheap. This is how I made my coins in the early days, coins that I needed to buy all the new machines.
74 levels later , I have all the machines & over 2.5 million and I am still doing this ..... Why ? Well a few reasons.
1..... I have 2 children that play HD & I am constantly filling their crates & giving them good , not at default price but for
1 coin.
2..... I love helping lower / new players that have just started farming . I will add them as friend through GC & basically give them stuff for 1 coin so they can resell at max price & build their coin tally up faster.
3..... When we have a global even & I have reached my personel target, I continue making the item , then come to the forum & give them away for 1 coin to other people who have yet to reach their target.
All this is a drain on my barn & silo ( which really should be a lot bigger at my level but I also give SEMS & BEMS away for 1 coin aswell ). Hence I have to go searching for goods to re stock my barn & silo while I'm also producing the products aswell. If I can buy goods cheaper this doesn't put such a drain on my bank balance. I actually give away 10x more than what I buy at default prices .
At present I'm following 5 low level farmers who are selling at default. I don't wipe out their RSS but when Ive bought stuff from them I ALWAYS fill all their crates if there flagged & water any plants. I feel it's the least I can do . Many times I'm shouting at my iPad "put your prices up please " . I've only ever had 1 person delete me, but hey it's their parogative to do so.
It's obviously bothering you that this person is doing this or you wouldn't have posted, so I think you've answered your own question. You really don't have any control over what the buyer does with the goods, what you do have control over is your choice to delete them .
Happy Farming sonnie😍
Agree with both sides here.
OP, if it annoys you, remove them.
I have one like that but it does not annoy me because I am not sure why she/he is doing it. There have been a few times that I go to my neighbors' RSS and see something that I am not sure if I need so I buy it. But then to go back and realize that I have more than enough, so I resell it. Because I myself have made that mistakes and my neighbors do not remove me, I give them the benefit of the doubt as well.
Perfectly fine with me if they sell. Why does it matter what they do?
They might need money. I'm at level 88, and recently, due to very poor money mgmt, I went down from a few million to less than 100k. So I pretty much had to raid shops of my friends, and cherry picked farms I follow, to buy cheap and sell at max. It's sad but no other way to come back. I'm at 450k now so I stopped.
I never delete anyone. Well, sometimes I do, as I often hit 100 people who follow me and I trim so farms I recognize don't fall off automatically.
I myself sell BEMS, LEMS, etc dozens at a time and I'm not in a neighborhood. I sometimes have followers who buy a whole shop and I LOVE IT. these are my favorite followers, and I'm glad I was able to helm them.
My point exactly. We have no idea really why anyone buys what they do except that they think they need it at the time. To call someone a greedy snatcher or any other name without knowing a thing about them gets my dander up. Someone tell me why I should turn away products I need just so I can keep shopping for more? Ridiculous. The minute a shop keeper in real life refuses to sell you what you need or even just want , he is guaranteed to get hit with a discrimination claim. How would you like it if you decided to have a party and wanted to buy ten cases of Pepsi, but the guy at the store says. No sorry, you have to put seven cases back, you greedy snatcher. Go to three other stores and buy no more than three each.. Yeah right . Or heaven forbid, you want ten cases of beer and the store owner tells you that you don't need that many and calls you names. How dare he. What if he tells you never to come back! When you put stuff up for sale, it is for sale. Period!! If you don't want someone to buy it all, then don't put it all up.
And yes I have been stalked and raided and you know what I did? I put up more stuff, and more stuff, and more stuff, untill the person filled up his barn. Many times I will fill a boat crate with my last jar of jam, or my last cheesecake and if I see a shop with ten cakes or ten ice cream or ten jams, you bet I am going to take them and fill more boats and yes I might just sell them at a higher price. So what. You have the ability to set your own price. If you don't want someone to profit off your goods, sell them at max. But to assume you know why a person buys stuff or worse to decide if they need it is just wrong.
That is pretty much how i play, too. I expect players to mark up and resell my bargain items. But that is me, and my feelings about it are not relevant if it is not what you like. It all boils down to your preference. If the way a friend or follower plays bothers you, then opting to quit playing the game with them seems a reasonable thing to do. IMO, nobody has to be wrong. They are just incompatible playing styles.
Exactly.
Tiggr, can you just accept the fact that your way is not the only right way and that I did not call you names. I was empathetic to the thread starter because of an ISOLATED occurance that happened today. I felt taken advantage of. I stopped it. I feel better. Done.
There is no way the person whom I deleted needed every single thing i sold all day everyday. I am happy when people visit me and buy stuff. Even if they resell it as a means of raising money. I said that.
You are bringing an air of negativity recently that I frankly do not wish to associate with. This is not a back and forth.
My feelings are my feelings. My playing style is my playing style. You have yours. I don't try to change you or criticize you. As a matter of fact, I reached out to you when you were a bit upset about the forum and encouraged you to stay. I'm glad you did but chill out chicka. Seriously.
