Lvl6 vs. Lvl7 air defense

Is the change at lvl7 really noticeable?

For example, lvl6 to lvl7 wiz tower was noticeable...

Lvl6 to lvl7 mortars, meh, not so much.

Lvl7 teslas are beast.

Those who have lvl7 AD, was it a big increase in damage?

I'm finally starting to upgrade them.

The change is huge.

A level 6 balloon has 545 health points.


A level 6 AD does 230 damage per shot. That means 2 shots leave 85 health. 3 hits to kill a balloon.
A level 7 AS does 280 damage per shot. That means 2 shots kill a level 6 balloon.


so when you're trophy pushing and need balloons to travel 4-5 tiles to reach an AD, the level 7 will kill an extra ballon compared to the level 6. Which is a pretty big deal in higher trophy ranges where balloons are prevalent.

Thanks for your input.

I very rarely, maybe once in the last few months, get attacked with balloons.

I also have max balloons but don't use them much so I don't recall attacking bases with lvl7 AD.
