How do you upgrade your wall? How long does it take you?

I actually think about this a lot. I have about 15% of my TH8 base covered in L6 pink walls and the rest in Gold L5. 75,000 is kind of a lot for me to upgrade more than 5 or 10 tiles at a time. Usually I upgrade 5 at a time. Or sometimes I say to myself for every battle I do I'll upgrade 1 tile... then slowly over the course of a month or sometimes more depending on what Level you're on it'll all be the same level. Obviously upgrading in order of importance to your base. Does anyone else have the same idea or along the same lines?

I really like upgrading walls cause defenses are very easy to upgrade also it takes alot of time to upgrade them but hey they make the game more interesting.

It takes a lot of grinding. You can't rely on "I'll save my gold for a defense, and remaining gold is for walls". You have to barch and be patient enough to do walls one at a time.

I would dump your gold and upgrade walls with the gold you have atm. Have at least one builder busy and whenever you have 75,000 gold upgrade a wall.

Move (if you can) to about 1500-1700 trophies. You can get at least 100,000 gold per raid.

When I'm farming I usually do 2-3 lvl 8 walls a day, plus defenses.

When I do my walls it's pretty situational, so I can only share with you my personal experience with walls. As a town hall 7, I had decent defenses done, but my defenses weren't completely done when the one gem barrack boost happened. I decided to take that opportunity and max all my level 7 walls. However, now as a town hall 8, I am focusing on maxing my defenses first and will start to farm walls during my spring break. Spring break is coming soon for me, so I won't be able to finish my teslas, but spring break will give me lots of time when I can farm, so that's why I'll be doing my walls then. When I do walls, I like to do them all at once, but some people like to do it slowly.

well i haven't upgraded my walls in months hahah

I always dump gold into my walls as I'm almost 100% maxed on everything else. After about 20 more though I'm done with walls. They are too time consuming and I'm not one of these people that needs to show off their "hardcore" farming skills with all zaps. I find farming non-stop really boring and TH10 is coming up so I'll need gold for all those goodies for a very long time anyways.

Great defence though and I'm glad I decided to get some to a higher level as I've noticed better defences in the past few months because of them.

I been farming so hard for level 9 walls. Averaging about 5 walls per day.

lvl6 walls are easy then on it gets harder

LVL7=1 raid 1 wall
LVL8=3 raids 1 wall
LVL9=5 raids 1 walls
LVL10=15 raids 1 wall
and all this counting you get 200k per raid

Tbh lvl 7 and below are easy but skulls (lvl8) is where it starts to get tough imo

When i do my walls i focus on them completely and dump everything i get into them lol mainly after i upgrade everything else lol

I've done 76 lvl 8 walls in just over 4 days its hard work!!

it took me 2.5 mil worth nexting to farm 9 mil gold. and it was not a bad loot day.
