Also, on having Valks in CC: the cost and build time are irrelevant to you (other than annoying clan mates with whiney requests for expensive DE troops). I don't use them a lot, but on defense they are nice: won't get killed by one lightning, they are fast, have splash damage, and rock when tanking for wizards. And on offense they kind of act liked a really weak PEKKA (that only takes up 8 spaces). What's not to like if someone else is paying the time and money for you?
