why does the surrender/end battle button have to be right above the troop deployment spots.
has any one else accidentally surrendered?
everything was going great. I was in a battle against some one I would normally never be able to win against but 2 of his morters and 1 of his wizard towers had builders at them. All I wanted to do was place a few WB's and I end up surrendering
This is the 3rd time it happened to me but the first time it ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me off so much.
Surrendering is a two-step process. You have to select yes after you click the button. Just click no or anywhere else on the screen and you should be fine.Quote:

Awful decision imo. Like yourself I've managed to surrender unintentionally several times. This was never an issue with previous placment of the button.
Still awaiting an update on this outstanding issue.

I agree that surrender button is in a false place. I never surrendered by mistake but i clicked on that button in middle of war by mistake.
People who are right handed are far more likely to want to deploy on the right side of the screen. Having surrender on the left makes far more sense. I hit it by mistake a lot less than before.
It probably depends the size of your platform, or I don't know.
I have an idea, instead of having it as a simple button they should implement a click and drag style. Kinda like the way the ios touch unlock function works. Anyone agrees?
i totally agree and have hit this many times when I am beginning to deploy troops (and I am right-handed so that comment makes no sense from previous post). even if you are prompted to confirm, it wastes precious seconds in a very short battle.
I agree. it should be moved to somewhere I can't press it on accident.
I agree with this 100%! It should be places at the top maybe or in an options setting you can choose where to place it. Either way I am right handed as well an have surrendered many times. Plus when you're dropping a lot of troops around and you accidentally hit the surrender button the confirmation isn't always expected obviously. Which can be why someone may hit it while deploying troops. It's so frustrating to surrender when you've spent 10+ minutes trying to find the perfect person to attack with the right amount of loot, knowing you'll never see them again.
It use to be at the top middle. Many people complained. I hit surrender all the time back then. I don't anymore. You can't please everyone.Quote:
