Poor DE loot at 2500 cups (with data)

Anyone notice terrible DE loot recently at 2500 cups? I was at 2503 cups today, and it was unbelievably bad.

Here's the data I collected over 200 nexts. Average DE/base was 1282 -- which is lousy, considering over 90% of the bases up here are TH10s with infernos. :(

Under 1000 DE: 85 bases (44 bases had under 500 DE!)
1001 to 2000 DE: 77 bases
2001 to 3000 DE: 28 bases
3001 to 4000 DE: 9 bases
4001 to 5000 DE: 1 base
5001+ DE: 0 bases

Broken down by percentage, it looks like:

Under 1000 DE: 42.5%
1001 to 2000 DE: 38.5%
2001 to 3000 DE: 14%
3001 to 4000 DE: 4.5%
4001 to 5000 DE: 0.5%
5001+ DE: 0.0%

Interesting stats here OP... I am having the same trouble around 2000-2200. I went up to 2200-2400, but, it wasn't any better. I feel like it's a never ending battle for us TH9 and TH10's.

I will be fully maxed at TH9 soon...10 lavas left and both heroes going to 28... I am really not looking forward to going to TH10... But, you would think after all of this hard work I would be excited?! :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Too many people clashing, hence bad loot.

I feel the same way -- I've got a while at TH9 before I max walls and heroes, but I'm not looking forward to TH10 (except maybe for the overpowered inferno discos).

It's ridiculous that DE loot is so inconsistent even at 2500+ cups.

It seems that SC has made the new loot system like a slot machine...lots and lots of skipping with a small chance of a huge 350K/350K/3K loot raid. I'm sure most players prefer the old loot system with smaller 200K/200K/2K loot raids that required less skipping.

It's Okay to go for low de bases, just as long they r easy bases with decent loot.

It will be better to use 40% of your troops to get 2k de than 100% of your troops to get 3k de right?:P

So 20% are 2k+ thats one every 5 skips, i see no problem lol

Right, but according to your guide, you mostly farmed DE from 1600-1800 cups? With double discos protecting most DE storages at 2500 cups, it's hard to use 40% of your army to get them.

I like DE pump raids as much as anyone, but there's a lot of skipping to find one. :p

Is this compared to what it used to be? I use to like to raid DE in Crystal III, but then the new loot system happened and loot in that range dried up. But it wasn't the system, really. I've noticed that in the Crystal ranges that multi-target infernos dominate the rich bases. Since the players in this range want to hold on there loot, they are almost always covering storages. To get at this loot you need allot of muscle - which if you loot at army compositions in this range, people aren't using. What you see is standard farming comps, standard farming comp with 20 hogs, and some loons. All of these troops can't raid those infernos.


You hit Masters III and things get waaaay better. People have tougher bases, but they don't always protect there loot as closely as Crystal I. You can find bases with good loot on the outside and people in these ranges are willing to throw a mass drag or GoWiWi out from time to time. So those tough bases can and do get hit sometimes.

I sorta went into loot in general, but good DE is easy to find in Masters

2000 DE for a TH10 with double discos (which are most bases at 2500 cups) isn't very good.

That's like going after 200K gold from a TH10 with double discos. :rolleyes:
