How Clash of Clans Could Be Improved

Before I begin, I'd like to state that I am not a complainer. On the days where I don't find loot, I just don't attack. I'm simply stating ways that could be implemented or fixed to make the game better.

1. Achievements

Being a player that doesn't want to spend money on gems, I often sought after achievements to give me the small amount of gems that I needed to quickly fill up a storage, boost a barrack, or other small things. Supercell added the three larger achievements, which once completed give a handful of gems, but are quickly used up. I think a 4th tier of achievements could be added, with another small amount of gems handed out to people that have completed it. Before an argument begins about how more gems leads to more spell boosting which leads to more dark elixir being stolen, what does it really matter? I, personally, have never had more than 2,000 stolen, which is easily made up in a couple of raids. More gems may lead to more people playing, which can be good or bad. With the current loot situation, though, I think we can take a few risks.

2. Saving Base Designs

To be honest, I don't know why Supercell hasn't implemented this already. After creating and coding such an amazing game, why is it that they haven't put it into the game. (I'm not sure if this is ruled out or not, don't give me heat)

3. Lack of Updates

Remember when the gold old days when updates came out monthly, bar a couple of days. Why has that stopped? It may be the development of Boom Beach (Which is a great game) but I don't see why the updates have slowed. I understand that people already have a hard time maxing a TH10, so add more features! Although the Multi-Inferno is slightly OP, it was a new feature that drastically changed high level attack strategies.

4. Level 12 Mines and Collectors

Pretty self explanatory. I'm well aware that no one wants to read another loot complaint, but more gold fro mines equals more gold to raid.

5. Stop Removing Inactives

By remove, I mean push to the end of the queue. We all know that mines, league bonuses, and collectors keep the loot moving in this game, the latter the most effective. If players haven't played for a really long time, sure push them back! In my opinion, it should be a month before they're pushed back. I know that the actual time is shorter, though, due to an experiment. :rolleyes:

6. New Dark Elixir Troops

There are 5 more spots left, let's go guys!

Not a bad thread and I would be interested to see that 4th tier of Achievements. IMO there should be a Gold Grab for when you steal 1 Billion Gold and it should offer 2000 gems. That would be awesome!! Really gives people an incentive to farm:cool: Also, maybe there could be another Friend In Need that offers 500 gems for 50K donates.

I agree, they should unveil a new dark troop already and help some of us out with brand new level 12 collectors and mines. hail the farmers. SC should also introduce clan wars already even though this has been requested so many times and SC never considers it. clan wars would make the game more competitive, so instead of cutting yourself trying to be one of the top 10 players, you would focus your energies on smashing your rival clans. oh, what fun that would be, considering that i have a few scores to settle with some old clan-mates...

2. They already have said this will come in the future.
3. The bigger better updates take longer to make. That's why this one has taken so long. Be patient, they are only human.
4. They are already toying with this idea.

The problem with adding more Dark Troops is they would be SOOO OP! The Golem and Witch are insanely powerful already. What's the next dark troop going to be? Some king of TH crusher? They have to nerf the already existing dark troops to release any more with reasonable power stats. The newer dark troops they will release would be unstoppable until a maintenance break to alter their stats:(

Some great ideas here.

1. I am only a meagre level 83 and have almost completed many of the achievements. 14 left I will do them though

2. The base save is also a good idea it will encourage people to experiment with base design rather than make 1 base and stick with it until something goes drastically wrong. The base editor was a fantastic update i imagine this would not be hard to implement maybe 3 spots per player to switch between farming cup push and hybrid. Or as they see fit to use it

3. I have seen a you tube video where some extensive updates were mentioned including clan wars and more single player lvls I really hope this is true!

4. Agreed I farm with BAM so the bigger the collectors the better

5. Agreed for the reason above and what were the results of your experiment just curious?

6. Haven't unlocked all the ones we can have yet its a good incentive to continue.

I see what you mean, but the last update which took 2 months was not super impressive, although the hero abilities are quite interesting

Also fix the Time builder bug - or atleast replay on it..

Giving new levels to the defensive buildings (that way you please the whiners who say "troops are OP!" without nerfing)

You should keep the trophies you earn no dropping and being able to raid all the gold people have yes that will make some people poor but others rich

I think they should include clan wars. Otherwise what's the point of being in a clan?

I'm guessing you have never played CoC and if you have you are a TH3?

I think Supercell should implement a "Fill Storages" button that doesn't cost anything and can be pushed as much as you want!. That and don't remove inactives!.

Are you for real on that first part? I really want to think you are being sarcastic but in all honesty, I can't tell anymore....About the inactive removal. SC DOESN'T remove inactives contrary to popular belief. They just get pushed so far down the search queue it becomes ridiculously difficult to find them.

If the chances of finding a good in-actives base is nearly impossible it equates to SC removing them.

On 5 and 6. 5 i say yes, but dont leave them in too long, send them to the end after 3 weeks. 6 ever since i got the dark barrack it has said that, and only one has been filled, when there are 10-20 good ideas for troops that have stood the test of time. I agree, get going peeps!

I would like to add to this game: the fluffy-bunny-function. And I don't mean the stay-online-feature, but a tool that allows you to set search criteria for raids and that will automatically skip raids that do not meet these criteria. Be sure it will still let you pay per skipped raid, but it will pull the sting out of the lately most annoying aspect of this game: the endless nexting. And if you don't want to miss the easy pick-up of 149k of gold by setting the treshold to 200k, then don't use it. Your choice.
