sup fellow clashers..i think this idea has been posted before but im going to try to redo it with some detailed explanations...please read the entire article carefully before replying thanks:D
CLAN TREASURY
-this is a bank type of place where gold, elixir and dark e can be deposited..no gems :D
-members are required to deposit a certain amount per season to this bank for use in clan related activities.
-these activities include donation, loot, xbows, infernos destroyed, etc seasonal competitions.
-donation competitions are fairly common in many clans, their provide itunes gift cards, this bank could now pay the reward
-clan competitions can be implemented by SC..here is sircolemans idea

-all this can be paid out by the bank..
-another very useful application of the bank is to fund trophy pushes where elixir can run out quick and the like..
MECHANISMS
-the bank deposition box will only come live for 3 days- at the last 2 days of the old season and first day of the new.
-each member deposits a certain amount into the bank during this period...
-this amount is decided by the member himself based on how much the clan requires him to pay
-this is COMPLETELY VOLUNTARY and will only be required if the clan requires it...the game will give no prompt and will NOT deduct your resources automatically
-to prevent the bank being used as a free resource storage, there will be a max. limit to how much a person can deposit into the bank per season...this will be capped based on a strict formula calculated on the basis of resources looted during the respected season.
-also to prevent a single person creating a clan and banking his loot, the clan bank will only be activated with more than 10 people in the clan.
-clans can have their own deposition requirements that need to be met..
-transactions can be made FROM the bank at any point of time
-only the leaders and the co leads will have control over the resources in the banks..
-also NO ONE can retrieve free money for themselves from the bank
-taking out money from the bank can only be used to fund competitions...please note this is an in-game function i.e. when starting a competition the game will prompt the rewards to be set and will deduct the amount from the bank balance...
-for this reason even donation competitions have to be started in-game with a button for start competition and then a prompt asking to select what kind of comp.
-rewards will be paid out automatically when the stipulated time for the comps. end..
-at all times a button is present to the leader or co leads to DISTRIBUTE the resources and the amount to be distributed....this will distribute an equal amount of the selected resource(s) to all members of the clan...note: it is the duty of the person distributing to make sure that all members can receive the amount of resources i.e. some members might have full storages or their storages might not be able to hold the amount..
if the member has full storages then the amount due to him will be held in escrow and given to him automatically when his storage clears up ...for the second case all i can come up with is that if you have weaker players in your clan then dont distribute high amounts;)..(im still thinking whats going to happen in this case...)
ALSO
if a player wants to leave the clan or decides he wants his deposits back, there will be a button available to him that will allow him to retract 25% only of the resources he has deposited since his entry into the clan...if there arent that much resources too bad:p.....though the bank should always have a good amount of money in it...as such there can be a new achievement made title:
Clan Treasury deposition which will record the amount that has been deposited throughout a players playing time...a certain amount of gems will be unlocked at various levels of deposition..these gem payouts will be higher and will happen more frequently than other achievements so as to encourage the player to deposit and help his clan out:D..
it is the leaders and co leads responsibility to keep continuous check on the balance in the bank even tho all members will be able to see the balance...
to avoid sudden and fast money being taken out of the bank there will be a cool down on all competitions and distributions...
specifically the distributions will have fairly long cool downs..im thinking 1 week
comps. 2 days...and of course the donation comp. will happen seasonly...
on a slightly different topic i think the leader or co leads should be able to start polls in game in the clan chat box...they could also set it as all member poll..only elders poll..or even only lead, co lead poll..
so when a lead or co lead decides to distribute from the bank the game will automatically set a lead, co lead only poll in the clan chat box where the lead and co leads have to vote a yes or no... it is mandatory for the lead and all the co leads to answer the poll...so they need to be online when this taks place..if any co lead is not online the distribution cannot take place...only when the poll returns a 100% yes result will the game allow the person who initiated the distribute to set the amount to be distributed and from which resource(s)...
All transaction to and from the back will be announced in the clan chat and the lead and co leads will also have a separate tab relating to all bank matters..
so thats it folks!! any loop holes i might have missed out can be mentioned below and i will correct them if they are credible...as always comments are welcome!:D what do you guys think??
