Defence: Clan Castle Secret Weapon

The Clan Castle in my opinion is one of the most underrated buildings in Clash of Clans - knowing how to use it properly will be a game changed.

The blog article here - with pretty pictures helps those new to clash of clans to start using these powerful buildings in the correct way.

Battles are won and lost on these buildings, because sometimes it is that "one man (or women) that makes the difference between victory and defeat."

Underrated? Since when? I mean, maybe by regular players, but most forumers have already learned about the clan castle's awesome power and how it can completely mess up raids and win you defenses.

"Wizzards (sic) are slower and take up more housing units but deal MASSIVE damage to single targets"

Don't forget that Wizards, like Dragons, deal area splash damage. So, like Dragons, Wizards do damage to multiple targets if they are grouped together.

I usually like having 6 wizards or a dragon in clan castle to defend my base

yup centralised cc is beast!

Ja, I should have made the title FOR NEW PLAYERS in it or soemthing.
I just remember when i started playing that I was like, ah whats this ♥♥♥♥. and didnt request troops and stuff. It didnt take me long to realise how dam powerful clan troops are.
Even being able to get MUCH higher level troops then your base level.
Im just encouraging new players to get into Clans and spam that Request and send buttons!

Sure....I was pointing out some details that were omitted...that's all.

How do you think Valks would do? They certainly do a number on CC troops on the offense.

Generally, for defensive Clan Castle troops, you want troops that can attack both air and ground troops. So Archers, Wizards, Dragons, Minions, and Witches are the choices.

Considering an air attack? I agree with you apart from the witches part. Their attack is very weak, for example 30 DPS at lvl2. Compare that to a wizard where even at lvl 1 will do 50 DPS (Max lvl 170 DPS). Watch what 3 x lvl4 wizards in the castle do to a pack of giants.

It's hard to see because of the lightning (and bats, remember them!) but the wizzies vaporise the giants.
