well, you can go two ways.
1. 24 loons, 50 minions = longer build time, but you "go easy on" the minions and can take on better bases
2. 16 loons, 70 minions = shorter build time, but you spend more DE on minis and can not take on some of those bases.
Overall in a day, the DE you earn will probably pan out evenly because you raid more often with #2 and are less likely to get attacked with the shorter build time.
I would suggest you go with the happy medium - This would be 20 loons, 60 minions, this is because it is a shorter build time than that of #1 and spends less DE than #1
Happy Raiding!
I think 24 loons is a bit much, I only ever use 20 upto master 2.
You can easily farm C2, C1 and M3 with 20 loons.
I use:
20 loons
57 Minions
14 archers
12 barbs
CC of minions usually
I try not to use spells. I usualy end up using 0 or 1 rage.
As you practiice you will get better. You must draw the AQ. I will always try and lure CC as well but if its not possible I will commit and use minions under rage to deal with what comes out of cc (this is riskey especially if wizzies appear). Having a backup lightning spell for the situations is also another option.
loons are insane ON BOOSTED BARRACKS. 24 loons rest mini's or 28 loons rest mini's probs 28 if ur boosting! Go as high as possible for de!
check out the farming guide by UnitySharp. the end
Thanks for this post I am TH9 and have lvl5 minions and lvl6 loons in 10 days so I will be using them maybe to farm depending on farming ill go up if there is a bad day
Hey:) this is the answer:)http://youtu.be/qEeK2ahSUGI
These are same very amazing raids!
There was so much gold and elix in the first vid and sooo much de in the second!
the only thing is that I don't think that this can be practical because it would mean 7 balloons per barrack which is 56 minutes! I don't think I would be able to raid constantly and large amounts with this :(
