I'd like to nominate RASTIS as the most helpful/kind new forumite greeter. He's done a great job helping out new members, especially in the Ideas subforum.

May I draw your attention to the 'on your own' section of my reply. Yes, you have put a lot of effort in, and I admire your perseverance, but surely you cannot deny that a little help wouldn't go amiss?

I gave a lot of nomitations ideas, check the first pages of this thread. All dismissed.

The new categories are just variations of the previous categories...

I've already said, its not flaming, its putting forward an idea to discuss. Just because it is not what you want to hear does not make it flaming.

Also, a few pages ago you say you are not part of the organising team, now you refer to them as 'we.' OK then...

Just want to forward this up... Please stop all your arguing now, unless you want to see the end to this thread. I'm sure the outcome of this event could be beneficial to all, and be fun. But we all need to pull together. This is a community after all.

Guys can we seriously stop fighting? The thread will get closed soon if we don't all shut it and then all this flaming would do nothing but create more general hate around the community:rolleyes:

Thanks for clearing that up Tink, but that really does say it all...

Not only does he dismiss good advice from us, it now seems he does with Mods' advice also.

Oh my lord, I can't make a typo? No I'm not part of the organizing team (I think) and I just say we because really you are insulting just about everyone on this thread. Also, OK, put out your ideas, just don't call us incompetent and useless because we "can't manage an event properly":rolleyes:

No one is fighting.

Some of us are just giving you guys ideas to improve the event, but you choose to dismiss any suggestion and label it as "flaming" and "hate" because you don't like what you hear.

Even one person said the same thing we are saying, in a nicer way, but his idea was also dismissed...

So tell me, if all our suggestions are dismissed, how can we help then?

This thread is for NOMINATIONS for people who you think would be good for the forum choice awards. Please post people who you think should be in the running to win. If you have a suggestion for how to make the competition better, please contact one of the event organizers PERSONALLY.

Let's start seeing some more nominations, shall we? If you don't like or support this event or the way it's being run, contact an organizer. Keep your personal opinions and arguments somewhere else.

Tinker said that mods also gave advice to shiv, so please, shiv, at least take the mods advice, I'm sure their ideas were correct.

Isn't not being able to do something properly the definition of incompetent? And I have been giving some good advice. All of which has been dismissed, as has the advice of mods. It seems Shiv is intent on doing this his way, and clearly, his way is not the right way.

(I'm giving my opinion, just because its not what you want to hear doesn't mean it's 'flaming')

Constructive criticism is where you SUGGEST proper improvements.

I suggested many solutions, one of which was to take Ryan up on his offer, as well as reach out to others for help, as you clearly couldn't run it successfully on your own. You chose to ignore that advice.
