Maybe something like that, but actually there posts are as usefull. EX: A person who has a GFX shop, Strategic advice thread, Game Thread, Clan Thread, ETC...Something like an "All-Around" Award

I nominate Harshaw from clan bad rabbits for organizing the charity event that raised so much money, over 3600 for a great cause! Definitely one of my favorite stickies of the last year. Not sure what category this would go in.

I have to say this whole thing has been VERY confusing to follow.

It's jumped from sub-forum to sub-forum, one thread to another thread, voting to no voting, stickied to unsticked, on to off, back to forth, front to back etc etc all in 24 hours. :)

I think the idea has some promise but it doesn't seem to be coming together well enough. Luckily I'm here to whip the organisers into shape! :D

When I think of Awards shows, yes there are nominations but they are nominated for a specific reason. So far here there is no reason. Just a list of names.

This is just a suggestion, feel free to go with it or just ignore it.

Example:
Award: Best Forum Poll: Who created the best poll?
(You then select 5 to 10 of the most popular polls on the forum).
Forumer1: What is your favourite day of the week?
Forumer2: Are you a Farmer of Trophy Hunter?
Forumer3: Are you a dude or a dudette?

Basically you're giving the person voting a reason for why they should vote. I might not remember Forumer1 by name but chances are I remember the great Poll he made that 20,000 people voted on. (slight exaggeration but you get the point).

Other examples of Awards could be things like (but all nominations would require examples)
- Funniest Forumer (quoting the post)
- Best comeback (querky response reply)
- Best Raid (from the Battle Log subsection)
- Best Forum Game (choose 5 to 10 of the forum games)
- Best Base Design (choose 5 to 10 popular ones)
- Best Forum Signature / Avatar
Then the winners would be announced like:
