Posting as last effort with Coc :( :( hoping game programmer/employee sees this

I'm an almost maxed TH9, and only spent $5 on gems for a builder. That's a ton of work and time, lots of love for the game.



I'm posting because I'm just HOPING some programmer will read this. I can barely get myself to play anymore :( honestly lately, I need to search 70-80 bases before I find anything around the 180k gold mark. It's rediculous. Not worth the time anymore.

I know how the game works, I'm good at it, tried different trophy ranges, it's just sad to see programmers not fixing this issue. Yes, the game need to take forever to play thats how they keep people looped in, that makes sense


but the searching times for finding decent gold are way too bad right now.


Please COC, pick it up. Don't want to see another game come in and fix all your errors and take over.... too much time with you.

Forcing myself to log in 2-3 times a day to collect resources and remove bushes.

sucks when I want to play yet unless I want to settle for a base with less than 80k gold, I have to search for 10+ minutes JUST to attack....

I was Th9 not long ago. I farmed from 1800-2400.

1800-2000 can be good for finding Th8 and 9. But the loot can be jumpy. You can have great days and days where you nexting like mad

2000 to about 2200 tends to be a desert. Don't get me wrong, there are times when Crystal III is nice but most of the time its bad.

2300-2400 I felt was great for looning. The loot bonus is pretty good but you have to avoid inferno towers like the plague. You can still attack Th10 players who centralize there infernos and have under upgraded defenses outside the range of those infernos.

If your Archer queen is level 15 or higher, you can manage in Masters III, which has good loot but you have to aim for bases with 50% of buildings accessible outside of the ranges of the infernos. Its a different mindset for sure, but people in Master III have loot and as a new TH10 with Th9 raiding abilities it has been really good to me.


Honestly, despite what everyone says loot has been great as a Th10. I have to raid differently but I can make quite a bit doing so some days and very rarely do I suffer the droughts I have seen in the other ranges.

i farm Gold3 with no issues.. my GG proves that.. I got to TH9 early too

I won't take them seriously if i were you.

I'm finding great loot at approximately 1800 trophies and I am TH9 as well. You could try there?

I'm pretty sure the SC employees read all of our complaints. I think they know we have a problem with the loot and they may or may not be trying to fix it. I'm hoping they do fix it for the sake of the people complaining. I'm just sitting here toughing it out.

The loot is fine. This weekend i got enough gold for two air dfenses to level 5, 2 teslas to level 3, and a wizard tower to level 6. There is nothing wrong with the loot. Go to 1600 trophies and see for yourself.

You are TH8. Your loot differs hugely from our TH9 loot. First, your upgrades are way cheaper, second, you don't have to experience the loot penalty as harshly as us. Right now, TH8 is the sweet spot. Stay in it while you can.

Yeah there is, every TH7 you attack now - you will almost never see as a profitable target again. Every TH8 you find, take 10% of that loot away.

It really does add up, and to make matters worse you are paying higher next fees.

Summary
Pay more to search
Find less when raiding
Have to cover higher upgrade costs
You potentially lose more on defense

You get negatively impacted in 4 different ways every time you upgrade your hall.

SuperCell claim they fixed 'progressive punishment' when they did the loot changes months ago. I call bullsh!t.

I went to Th10. I've been raiding in masters for a solid month. Loots been great and I can raid with 1 rage spell most of the time.


Its been allot more stable than it was as a Th9

i think they are doing something about the looting end of this month , correct me if im wrong

If you're struggling with th9, don't ever upgrade to th10, you'll quit.

But it seems if you want the awesome loot you did many months ago you need to boost to get it. The model has changed.

Lol even I'm having trouble, and I'm a TH7 (heard other ppl say as the magic land of loot). I can find it, it's just the nesting is soooo boring for me.

i would take a break from farming try pushing it alot of fun and that the point of farming to upgrade are bases so we can push also when you do want to farm again try different trophy ranges im at 1400-1500 and i get 600k raids with about 7-8 min of searching

I have actually given up on my th10 account, loot sucks atm tried all different trophy ranges, just not worth my time anymore .. Only time i log on is too collect resources and remove obstacles.. Won't continue to play until loot is fixed, thats my 2cents on the matter.

you need to post on reddit for responses from the developers, go on youtube for exclusive interviews and post on here if you just want to be ignored by SC.

I'm sure there will be future updates to look forward to, Clan wars for example. Personally, I think that will be a gamechanger!
But i understand you, clicking next and seeing your gold disappear isn't that fun.
try to find a good league to farm in, i find plenty of bases in the gold leagues right now.

Otherwise, a good clan can really help out too!
Just being in a clan for troops is pretty pointless, remember they are other people too, so chatting with them and getting to know them can boost your game experience in a good way.

reached its point where everything has grinded to a halt.

from day 1 to TH 8 everything was fine, getting good loot, easy upgrades, it was fun. 270 days later or so, and on TH9, i noticed i was hitting the next button more often than i normally would. Updates came, full of promises that loot would be better and so we continued playing. To my dismay, i was still hitting the next button but even more. Puzzled, i went to the forums to check what was happening with the loot system. Some say it worked, others, not so good. I started asking upper level players (TH10) and they said the same exact thing....loot was no good, nexting 50-100 times was the norm. what??

Then it occured to me. With all the expensive upgrades everyone has 'up there' and duration of build times, it's no wonder anyone can't find good bases to loot from. Players like me will also add to the bottle-neck effect that is happening up there. Hitting the next button will now be 50-101 times. Imagine hundreds more will follow suit. Hitting the next button will now be 101-200 times.

I'm sure SC already knows this. In my mind, i hope more people will quit so we can raid their base with full collectors. I know I won't (quit) cause i already spent money, real money on this game and i don't want it to see it go down the drain.....

blatant falsnisity! Poppycock! SC regularly posts and responds on the forum. They just don't sit around and address the same tired issues repeatedly. If you wish to verify this look for posts from SuperSteve[supercell] and Marika[supercell]. they should both be easily found in the stickies and you can review their profile for past postings and threads. or heck maybe even use the search function.

The game isn't running as smooth as it should be. Hang in there, it will probably get better sooner or later. I decided not to care about idle builders anymore. That has really helped me to keep having fun and not getting irritated.

When was the last time you've seen a question and answers session from SC? When was the last time SC given exclusive interviews to the official forum? I've only just learnt a new troop will be available in 2014 from an SC interview on youtube... Yes, SC does post on the forum with generic answers like... were looking into it or no promises... If you address the issues raised then the same tired issues won't pop up...

Maybe using long cook armies, loot gets a large drop off at th10.. Yes the odd collector raid but nothing compared to the amount at th9.

Back before they "improved" the loot system I'd be distraught if I had a builder idle for like an hour. Now I go days with 1 or 2 sitting around and I really don't give a &*(^% anymore. I'm enjoying the game less and less and playing less with each passing day.

I used to treat myself to $20 in gems on the first of the month (had to keep some discipline to avoid heading down a slippery slope towards $20 a week and then $20 a day with the gems lol). I also felt it was reasonable to pay a modest amount considering the endless hours of entertainment I was getting from this game. But the last few days of each month I was champing at the bit to buy my new gem pack. Now I can't even imagine a circumstance under which I'd EVER buy another bag of gems.

If a fix comes soon, fine...if not I'm looking forward to getting back to being a productive member of society. :)

Supercell has horrible customer service. Even when thousands of players constantly say how bad the loot system is, they continue to ignore it and push it aside. It's crazy.

I've farmed a good while in Masters III with loonions. Loot is great here.

Im sure Super Cell is working on a new loot system, Many people have complained. It will come eventually.

Doubt it, SuperCell seem determined, borderline stubborn to see this loot system through despite countless complaints of the old system been better.

Well to to tell you the truth you are right - its difficult to find the right target, but they are there if you have more patience. But bragging or seeking sympathy for only so spending 5 bucks on thus game won't carry weight with this corporation - even me with over a thousand bucks invested will not grab their attention. If you are truly tired swallow the five bucks and delete the game. As for me I got a lot of money in here and I will ride it out. It's a game that I enjoy - more at certain times than now but I have faith they will fix it . They haul in over $600,000 a day - they like to strategize to make people like me pull out the wallet, its about the money, not the game my friend.

But I think those thousands of players is nothing compared to millions of people playing CoC (my assumption).

@OP: My brother is a TH 9 player, and he got at least 500K total in each raid. Maybe he nexted quite a lot (about 5 minutes nexting), but it's not that bad..

Loot is functioning as they designed. Any increases in pressing Next is simply our perception.
Supercell's unshared data shows everything is working wonderfully & loot is higher than ever before.

if there is any loot draught, it is our own fault of being in the wrong trophy range, raiding at the wrong time of day, using the wrong army composition, expecting too much, etc etc.

Supercell has said this, so it must be true.

What league are you in? logically the higher up you go the better the loot should be because people have to save more resources for more expensive upgrades, but it does not work this way because the higher up you go the more ch eaters you'll run into keeping themselves online so they don't get attacked,

I laugh to myself every time theirs an update and someone makes a new thread o the forums saying how great the loot is after the update, nothings changed it's just that everyone has bee kicked offline so when people are not ch eating the loots a lot better, it's a joke that 95% of the top 200 players do not have over 5 defensive wins in a full season, it'd be much more interesting if they added a "defenses lost" statistic too, it's even funnier when the champions league guys moan that they just get clouds for a long time searching for a match, if your all staying online so you don't get attacked their is no one to match you with!, anyone playing legit will get attacked over and over again because their is no one to attack so they won't stay in champions league very long , it just sends the message to everyone else that your not getting their unless you ch eat as well. yet these people get rewarded with gems and get put in the limelight with interviews where they admit ch eating, and people making "OMG th5 in champions league" threads......... yet supercell still does nothing about it because they say these people do not buy gems, but all the money is being spent by people who do not know any better playing legit to try and beat these people, no matter how much money you have your not going to beat someone who just stays online all day.

I find that once i get to crystal 1 i'm searching to long to find a profitable base, and even if i keep going i'm just maintaining the loot i already have rather than increasing it, so when i get to crystal 1 i just build a full goblin army and just attack with goblins until i get back down to gold 3 and then just build my normal army till i get back to crystal 1 again, i'm at th10 at the moment with half of my buildings maxed, and i always have enough gold for my next upgrade playing this way.

I've come to the conclusion that if you have un upgraded buildings theirs no point going past crystal 1 because your just slowing your progress down, the only advantage with going further is higher DE loot

I'm early th9 and i find 200k to 300k in 30 nexts max so try 1500-1600 again as the loot is there

Not sure if this is a troll post, but I'll respond anyway.

The loot system functioning as it was designed by SC and the loot system giving the farmers on this forum what they want are different things. Whether you like the new system or not, SC and a TH8+ farmer (the majority of the people on this forum) have very different agendas.

For me loot is generally ok, although the usual Sunday drought made its way into Monday. Haven't played today.

Its more likely that you both do not understand what you are discussing and due to fear/misunderstanding you are mischaracterizing SC to support that irrationality.

I am a same player as OP. I've spent $5 to get my builder n farm my th9. I've currently max all my defence twrs n farming my lego walls n heros now. I think the loot is actually there. Juz need to be in the correct range wif the correct troop combo to be able to farm properly. I am using balloon minion combo n having no trouble finding good base wif good loots to raid. Gameplay has changed and now u need to do storage raids instead of juz collectors raids. Those who complaining bout searching too long for a base to raid is most probably looking for easy storage raid becoz they dun have the correct troops to break into storages. Change ur troops combo n for th9 i find gold 1 a pretty sweet spot for gold n elix. If u want de u will need to go higher into crystal league. Juz my 2 cents worth.

Actually, supersteve's exact line was something like 'we are deeply concerned with the perception of increased Next'ing". Yes, he has said that. In Marika's thread about the loot change from December (the massive 100+ pager), he also said that his data (which he will not share) has shown that average loot is higher with the new system than it was before. The only concession he has made is that Supercell will 'continue closely monitoring the new loot system'.

this did not go over well with us.

TH10 is fine. The long build times actually make it pretty easy to keep your builders busy.

Yeah they are happy with the designed loot.
Your taking his rebuttal of the nexting argument/data to an extreme in an attempt to support arguments.
Yes they say data shows a small increase in loot.
Does not say to change your play style at all or that you are expecting too much....

As far as increased use of the "Next" button, I am personally quite concerned about this and hope we can take a close look at that in the coming days. Things have been a little out of sync with the holidays, a few bouts with Influenza and the hard work going into upcoming updates, but hope to have more news soon.

I appreciate your patience, and realize it's probably stretched pretty thin at this point. I hope to have more info on Next Button usage soon.

I think it is save to say that a new system which will not be changed is mostly working as expected. This is common sense, exactly what fanboys lack.

You should play supercells new game "boombeach". There is no loot penalty, no penalty if you rush town halls (but still upgrading defences to a normal level). You're troops survive!!! You can tecnicly play for 6 hours strait! Easier to get gems, plus you can scout the base! It has everything coc needs and wants... But very difrent in plenty ways. It is coming out of soft launch very soon. Sometime this March.
