LvL 1 infernos need to be changed, way too strong

Level one infernos are way too strong, people rush to get them and bases that have been gemmed just to get them and nothing else are somehow incredibly hard to destroy. Figure out something to make them more manageable. For example less targets on multi shot, the none healing factor only works on lvl 2 or three towers. It's really lame that some people that choose to spend money can fend off a decent attack from someone whos been working hard for every lvl. I understand its a business but the inferno tower on multi shot is way too much of a boost in power ........ It's depressing seeing someone with a lvl 10 th lvl 5 cannons and archertowers but can still fend off average attacks with infernos. Giants are now way too slow to get to them, and they get massacred by wizard towers since they can't get healed. We are now forced back down the mass hog rider attack. But ..... Instead of mass heal spells we use freeze spells mixed with rage or heal spells. I liked the game more when we had to use a mix of troops, not just spam one unit.
Please fix this,

I agree with the thrust of your post in that level 1 inferno towers are too strong. And the fact the damage cannot be healed is way too over-powered. In trying to fix the issue of the mass hog attack, SuperCell have actually made it worse given there are few realistic alternatives to attacking bases with inferno towers.

I think its fine, hogs were way to OP.

So we shouldn't have an OP defense tower just to combat 1 OP troops\.

Agree that lv 1 Infernos are too strong.

Lv 1 Infernos should be restricted to 3 targets on Disco mode. Lv 2 at 4 targets, lv 3 at 5 targets.

Will not change high level gameplay at all, but prevent a level 1 Inferno turning a ♥♥♥♥ base into an extremely strong base.

Start mixing in golems and freeze with your giants

Instead of totally blocking healing effects, why not make the inferno just reduce the healing effects by 50%? Heroes already have this debuff constantly.

it could be a higher percentage at higher level. This way, it increases the usefulness of healing spell vs disco infernos and also gives a better reason to use single target mode infernos in middle-high gameplay.

Don't get me wrong but rushed ths are the best cause they can't reload and you can get the firefighter achievement damn easy now

I agree with most of ya, I like the idea of stages for the inferno targeting. As to using golems it doesn't do much bc it's just one out of five or even ten targets the infernos can hit, and like what was said earlier, a base that was nothing becomes something that can make a defensive hold against most attacks. I also agree that its a lame idea to counter just one single attack style( hogs, healers) with a tower capable of devastating any attack. I'm not scared at all of a lvl three inferno on single shot, but a lvl 1 on multi shot makes me rething an attack. Thanks for all your thoughts and comments

I totally agree. Nerfing healer healing was a very bad idea, since healers can't keep up with hogs, so essentially it just shafted giant healer, which already has serious problems vs TH10. Healers should get their healing back (maybe with a 50% reduction for inferno targets), and inferno 1 should only hit 3 targets. It's stupid when people who didn't even bother to max for TH8 can jump straight to TH10 and win most of the time just because they have rank 1 infernos. You should need rank 3 if you want 5 targets.

Edit - I am a couple months into TH10 and have rank 2 infernos, so I'm suggesting nerfing my own defenses.

anyone can say that its true that the inferno towers came into the game specifically designed to combat the OP hogs. Only now there is an OP defense. Where supercell went wrong in nerfing the hogs is they never reduced the movement speed of hogs. seriously, you can go check out the past updates and read what they changed in each one. The fact that they ignore your walls completely with a movement speed of 24 makes them the fastest troop in the game. Supercell reduced their damage and hitpoints but reducing their damage means nothing when they attack in numbers right? we've all seen the hog attacks and what good does reducing their hitpoints do when players just cast a heal spell? btw, I'm talking from a TH 9 point of view here. Now lets talk about the problem with the inferno towers. When supercell developed this tower they did so to combat players using mass hog attack and heal spells so they said 'lets make any troop touched by the inferno towers not be able to heal'. This is the problem right here. They took away our ability to heal. most players can't even get close to the inferno towers. They target too many troops and they can considerably wipe out waves of your troops in seconds.

you have forgoten about minions, and if your logic about large numbers of fast troops being powerfull was correct everyone would be useing a full army of them.

Minions are nothing like hogs, one air bomb and all the minnions in an area are gone. Also they have about the same speed as a ground unit that has five times its health and about two times the damage. ... Inferno towers were a good way to stop hog raids with heal spells which were horribly over powered but the problem is that it effects every other style of attack. I liked that they changed spells costing elixir instead of gold, but if I want to launch an attack at my lvl it's going to cost me over 100 k in elixir, at least. So using mass spells is not economical. I can't use rage n freeze spell every battle. But back to the point to the inferno towers the only real wAy to beat them on multi shot is with high health units, dragons, pekkas golems...... But who the heck wants to spend 300 k + on an army of pekkas to have the satisfaction of killing the infernos. It use to be about how you built your base and the thought that went into it, now it's just gem till you have infernos and wall. One inferno in the middle of a base can halt an attack of 20 lvl 6 giants easy and that nuts!
not only are healers really stupid , never going where you want but now they have no point to them since they can't heal. The infernos should only stop heal spells not healers. That's my new thought. And to the perso who was talking about mass minnions, try it against a person with traps set and infernos. Make sure you have tissues after you cry with the loss of all the dark elixir. Minions are only good used with dragons or balloons.

well duh, they are still using them. They just build that army and attack TH 9 players. Let me guess, you're a TH 10 player..

One more thing if you vote no please say why? I'd like to know. Just couldn't understand why anyone would want this unless you rushed to th 10. Just for them.........


also i so I think they should add more traps to stop hogs and attacks like them, instead of making a op counter tower. Glue traps or anti spell traps......... Anything so many possibilities with traps. Or adapt walls to counter specific units each day. for example you have a ditch on on side of the wall that lasts 24 hours or electrified walls or a wall summoner tower that rebuilds walls or so walls change elevation to stop hogs by making one side taller but its negative is it drops the wall on the other side........ Idk all ideas ......
