Signature
Signature is what appears below your post every time. If you didn't do anything to it then it will be blank, nothing will appear below. As you can see, if you look below this post you see some stuff like Phoenix Faction picture, and links, info about me and all those stuff. I will lead you to how to edit your signature:
Let's start off from homepage. You can see at the upper bars there is the word "settings" which I underlined for you. Click on that.

After you go there, there will be a left column where you can edit all your settings. I highlighted the words "Edit Signature" for you, click on that.

This is what it should look like, the upper is what it looks like when you post, the below is what you type in to edit, keep in mind that you can only have one picture or emoji. Both counts as 1, so remember that. Also the maximum signature picture size is 500x100, so don't try to make it any bigger.

If you want to upload a signature picture then scroll down and you should see this:

Click on "upload" select the picture file, then click the below upload button then it will show the picture. Wait! You are not done yet, click "Insert Signature Picture" to put the signature code. If this code: [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] is in there then it will show up when you post.

Much simpler than signatures, there is no codes or such things like that. Just couple simple steps.
Go to settings which I underlined for you:

At the left column click on "Edit Avatar"

Then click "use custom avatar" and select a file to uplad then you're good! Or if you don't have any you can use one of the defaults below:

Image uploading
We all have image size limits! What can we do? We can't upload anymore pictures unless we delete space! Wait... wrong, you don't even need to upload pictures like this. Ever heard of imgur.com or tinypic.com? They are websites that you can copy and paste the image code without needing to worry about space! That's why a lot of us can post unlimited images. Keep in mind that there can only be 30 images maximum in one post, so you can't exceed that limit. I would highly recommend using imgur.com over tinypic.com because imgur.com allows you to upload bigger images and upload in sets instead one by one. I will show you how to upload using imgur.
First off, you DO NOT need to sign in to imgur to upload images, it's optional. Let's start
This is what I see, click on the "Computer" (now it is upload images at top bar) button

Then this is what you should see, if you want to upload more than one then hold on shift and select what you want to upload in bulk.

Click the "start upload" button

It will load the images then it will look like below when it's completed. The BBCode (message boards & forums) is the one you are supposed to select, like the one I selected in green below:

Then post the code into the post like I did below:

Then when you submit your post your image will show up there! It's that simple.
Profile
As you know where settings is, click there, then where you can edit your profile is surrounded by red box shown below:

I will lead you through all of them besides the avatar and signature which we did already.

In here, this is where you can edit your email, password, date of birth, privacy, home page URL, Instant Messaging, Biography, Location, Interests and Occupation.
Email & Password is the only thing that is required, and forumers can send email to you by clicking on your name then "send email."
If you want to edit your email or password, you have to have your current password put in above then if you want a new password enter in new password and confirm new password then click save changes. Same thing goes with email address.
In Date & Birth, the year is optional, and you don't have to show your date of birth to forumers, but admins can see it. There are four kinds of privacy: Hide Age and Date of Birth, Display Only Age, Display Only Day and Month of Birth, Display Age and Full Date of Birth. Be sure to select the appropiate one that you would like, so you don't have your privacy ruined.
In Instant Messaging, once you fill in any of the fields, forum members will be able to contact you with these. Be careful with filling these because you may or may not want messages with these Instant Messaging tools. You do not have to have them filled in, it's optional.
Biography is just few details about yourself, you can play around with it by making up silly bios and things like that. A lot of us forum members do this, and this is optional to fill in.
Location is where you live, you can make up silly locations if you want like mine isn't a real location, you can use it to tell other forumers something or make jokes out of it and such. This is optional too.
Interests is what your hobbies are, again this is optional and you can do whatever you want with it. Occupation is your job too and you don't need to fill it in too, optional.
Profile Picture:
This is what it is supposed to look like:

You do it just like avatar, but the thing is, it is NOT an avatar. When someone visits your profile, this is where your profile picture will show. Let's use my profile as an example:

Profile Privacy:
This is where you can edit who can view your profie and send you visitor messages and such. This is what it is supposed to look like:

There are four restrictions to pick from: Everyone, Registered Members, Your Contacts, Your Friends.
Everyone-Anyone on forums, including unregistered members communicate/view with that certain setting.
Registered Members-Everyone on forums that is logged into their account can communicate/view.
Your Contacts-Whoever you added to your contacts can communicate/view that certain setting.
Your Friends-Only people on your friends list can communicate/view that certain setting.
