Start LAVAs or Complete those LEGOs?

okay, so I'm using the amazing design... ringus...

I've done the 162 LEGO walls that is used as protector... 88 walls that left is the outer walls that is not going to be attacked because it has open gap that lead farmers army to spring traps.

Here is my base:

Do you think I should complete all the LEGO walls first, or should I just start those LAVA walls?

In answer to your question, it doesn't hurt to do some lava walls on those internal ones. If you have time to raid 3 mil do a lava, if your short of time and cant raid just make a lego, thats what i always did...

no harm in starting lavas. Why is it necessary to finish legos ?
Depends on gold you have, i would do lava if i have 3 mil or do 2 legos if i have 2 mil and free builder

Also, From here on, i would focus on def instead of walls. If you have 4-5 mil, start a def and dump rest on walls.

The teslas look to be a long long way from maxing, id have a builder nonstop on them.

If you do lavas now it will look out of place but if you complete legos it will be all even and nice

you'll need months of farming to complete legos (or at least a thick wallet :rolleyes:) so if i were you i would choose lavas

truthfully keep one builder free and upgrade defenses while completing the legos... thats what i´ve been doing and it works great just not when you have to push and quit farming for 5 days... which will set me back maybe 50mil which is around the exact amount i need to finish my legos and start lavas.. you can do 10+ legos a day why not finish them off

what is OCD?

of course... if legos is all we can do on th9, then I will upg to th10 too once lego finished... lol...
but seems like it will be a very long journey to finish those lavas... I'll need another 88 million for legos and 750 mil for lavas.

If I farmed about 200 million gold in my first th9 month...
then I will need about 5 months to complete those lava walls...

I hope Giants lv.6 that will come out from lab tomorrow can boost my progress. lol...
I'll need to train my self to use them first, because I'm using BARCH+wb since day-1

Yep, when my upgrade already takes too long, I will keep one builder free... but I still have so many short upgrade, so I can manage my builder to finish at least once in 24 hours to dump farmed gold.

You wont keep this setup for ever so... Continue with the legos :) but upgrade your defences too!'

Upgrade the walls that are broken most imo. No reason to upgrade a wall if it never gets broken, right?

example : People will do one defence at a time, Having 5 archer towers upgrading, many cannot see a disorder, everything should be in order.

To my understanding there are broadly two classification playing, nothing correct or incorrect.

- One can rush TH, called as premie in forums. I really dont see it wrong.
- One can Max a base level then move up - the more intellectual types :-)

I belong to the first type(similar like you, but not as good a farmer), but i realized that if you rush in the beginning its lot of fun in the beginning, but then you have to slow down at some point and start the struggle of maxxing a base level (could be th9 or th10 normally).

Second type is a struggle in installments

If given an option to go back in time, i would choose second, but i had lot of fun being the first type, no regrets.

Irrespective of which way is chosen; struggle with - time, money, loot, cups is inevitable.

I really recommend keeping your defences going.. It's a pain in the ♥♥♥ to finish walls before def :S

I choose Lego walls. Not because I like to max them first or what, but I just love their look.

I think I'm not that type then... I'm upgrading depends on how much I farmed and the upgrade time so I won't have 2 builders finish on same time :D
I do have general order to do upgrades, but I'm not strictly following them because of the reason above.

Lego's. You might reformat base one day and would have to have weaker walls in vital areas

Nice walls for your level mate.;)

I'd go with lavas if I'm being honest. They look cool. :cool: Lava / lego / skull combo allows you to continue dumping gold into skulls when builder times are tight. This allows you to get rid of excess gold & put it into skulls when you're short for a lava. This way your storages don't fill before your next builder is free. Effectively works as another gold sink.

There's also the bonus of starting them early, plus they're great on defence. Outer walls are nowhere near as important as the 1st / 2nd layers. After you start them paying 1m for a single lego piece will feel like a piece of cake in comparison.

finish the legos. I spent about 30m on Lavas before finishing the Legos...that would have saved me a few days :D

So do the lavas. I am voting lavas. You can do it, and they look nice.

Hehe, I think you should really max your defenses FIRST, walls will be useless if you have TH7 leveled archer towers and cannons. :rolleyes:

I do upgrade def, you can see my screenshot... I was upgrading 2 WT at the same time... They already maxed now and I'm upgrading xbow and archer tower currently.

those walls I do is to spend excess farmed gold...
