I will upgrade dark and normal barracks, lab, farming troops, get BK, get teslas, and max out walls. (Is gold easier to get at TH8?)
I will leave my point defenses, like cannons, lvl 6 or 7. I usually play 8 hrs a day.

Don't forget to upgrade mortar and wizard too as those are really important.
