So to summarize your thread. Obstacles spawn at a rate of 8 hours, they need a spot to spawn with a buffer if 1 space between them and any other object, and finally as a player ads more to his base the first two rules cause a decrease in obstacles that spawn?

So eh what is the spawn rate? 8'hours.

i knew something wasn't adding up right... In 2 weeks i will have played Clash for 1 1/2 yrs (late Aug 2012). If i really spawned 3 objects/day + original 40 to start, I should have a Nice & Tidy achievement close to 1700. Instead, mine says 942. This achievement has been around since the beginning, so it should be accurate.

btw, i just cleared 5 trees i was originally saving (which i usually don't do). Got 0 gems, 0 gems, 0 gems, 5 gems, 0 gems.

Functioning as designed :rolleyes:

Haven't had a new obstacle grow since Christmas :( But that's because presents surround my base lol

On the 4th Dec 2013 i posted in this thread

Then I had removed 731 obstacles with 16 still on my base = 747

Today I have removed 831 with 33 on my base = 864

864 - 747 = 117 obstacles have spawned in 99 days

This is only 1.18 obstacles a day for me, or 1 every 20.3 hours

I have always had space for more to spawn and have cleared everything except pine trees on the boarder as soon as a builder has become available.

Also I started playing 16th Feb 2013
864 minus the original 40 thats on your base = 824
824 in 390 days is 2.11 per day
or one every 11.37 hours



Edit; I hadn't quite finished the neat and tidy achievement when the profile update came out, so I didn't lose any there.

I have two accounts, one for Android and one on iOS and Android in the double obstacles appear and also give more gems.
Be that iOS users have more money to buy gems.

You missed the point that stats stopped once achievement was complete, prior to aug 2013.

If you finished thenice and tidy achievement in Jan 2013 you will have had about 8 months were the stats were not counted.

Why is this thread all about trees ?

What I really miss are the stones and rocks !
If had known back then, that they won't come back like the trees do, I would never have removed them :(

On my Mini I made sure not to get rid of the rocks !
