Upgrade early to th8?

Of course they do, the point is though you want to be starting off with the best chance of keeping your loot, that means having reasonable defences.

I'm not quite sure why people ask advice than say well I'm not going to take it any way, if there's one thing I've learnt in my short clashing career is it's better to learn from other peoples mistakes then to learn from your own mistake.

Max everything? nope. Go for it town hall eight is a complete destroyer compared to town hall 7. I mean town hall seven is as weak of a level as town hall 6.

Also, why wouldn't I be able to attack premmie th9s and average th8s with an upgraded th8 army?
(Because lvl of defense does not affect lvl of offense, so I could have a strong offense and a premmie defense)
I will not just rush (Or skip, as you worded it) through th7, I will upgrade my new army camp, splash defenses, lab upgrades, and more. (Get barb king, dark barracks etc.)

I'm really not sure what I'll end up doing, but hopefully whichever way I choose will work.

So just one more question, why is the loot at th7 so amazing compared to th8?

Are there countless abandoned th6 bases with full lvl11 collectors or something?

So when you get to th 10, what will you do? Max splash and do what? Push? Nope you'll get destroyed. Trust me you'll cease to enjoy the game..

Like I said, I'm not sure what I'm going to do, and you have some very strong reasons to max out. (Maxing out is a fine idea in my opinion, I've been doing it but now I'm just seeing what other options that are out there)

Isn't that what I'm trying to do? I'm going to see how this works (If I do it) and tell others from my primary experience whether you should try this strategy or not. (So if you feel like learning from my possible mistakes, you can!)

:confused:...Did I ever say I was going to rush to th10??? My plan is to almost max out th8 and max out th9. (Maybe not lvl10 walls though, but I'll try)

Well...it's definitely all the rage to upgrade prematurely these days. However, that strategy only works for a few select players that are able to raid a ton of gold per day and dump into their walls.

From someone who maxed th7 and 8, I can tell you one of the weakest offensive upgrades is from th7 to th8. Your army camp stays the same at th8 at 200 spaces. Of course lvl 5 troops are nice, but they are not game changing like lvl 6 farming troops. There is a huge difference between a lvl 5 and lvl 6 giant. My personal opinion is that you will be sadly disappointed in lvl 5 farming troops. Also, th8 defensive upgrades get seriously pricey at upper levels (over 2 million per upgrade).

However, since you've basically made up your mind, good luck.

I'm finding great loot at TH7

lots of collector base around 1600-1800, it is not that hard to get them, you can also get some dark with some low TH8, your troops can be fair enough (especially with th BK boost)

i will defenitely upgrade max troops (already got full camp capacity, 2dragons barrack, my hogs tonight, barb/archer/wb to lvl 4, drag ongoing) then max walls (you will feel it in the knee if you only do lvl6 i guess) and splash dmg before moving on...

and at that point, ill just put all 4 builder on collector upgrade since i neglect them at TH6

so yeah... i will defenitely max my TH before moving on


edit: Also, i'd like to add.... there is update coming soon.... and we don't know much about it.. but what if defense get a great buff... wouldn't any premies regret going too far too fast?

Why not do something before that is cheaper and easier to get then doing it later and the loot penalty gets ya? I don't understand the logic or strat to this..

(That's what I think too, believe it or not. I'm just thinking about trying new ideas)

So I'm not really sure what I should do because I hear the loot at th7 is amazing and if it's really that great, I'll probably max out my base.
