Upgrade early to th8?

I am a max th6 upgrading to th7.

There seems to be this sort of "max everything" policy and if you don't do that you're not going to be able to do anything in the game.

But from other threads that I've read, I think I have a new plan.

So here it is, critique it you want:

1. Upgrade army camps, build dark barracks and farming troops. (Giants, wbers, archers, goblins, barbs)

2. Upgrade main splash defenses and get barb king. (Big boost for raiding)

3. Upgrade all new walls to lvl 6 (pink walls)

With th8 I would be able to upgrade my troops and walls fairly easily with next lvl archers and barbs.

(For all of you people saying that th7 is loot city or whatever remember that the loot penalty is only 10% for attacking a th7 if I upgrade, so I would still be getting almost the same loot if not more because of my better troops)


Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

i would stay at th7 and fully max out base easy loot for th7

How is there less loot for th8? (Th8 by the way has a much better army so I could steamroll a maxed th7)

Other than the loot penalty. (Which is fairly low)

Bumping this to the top because I really need some good feedback.

It was really easy for me to max th 7 even the walls I get th 8 today!!!!!

I'll see what the loot's like and test for myself.
Although I'll probably still upgrade to th8 because of the troop boost so I can raid both th7 and th8.

TH9 will see 180% of the available loot he would see if u stayed in TH7
TH10 will see a 1000% of the available loot he would se if u stayed in TH7

Defo get pink walls. 1 level 5 wall breaker can get through gold walls.

Personally I'd recommend everyone to max TH7, as you get raped by TH9's when you are an early TH8 and you need all the defense you can get. However some people may argue its pointless even trying to defend against Th9.

Maxing TH8 is debatable.

as a TH7, all of my loot came from premmie TH9s and with filled mines/collectors. i was getting 150k-250k of each. now, in TH8 im struggling to find 100k raids. so stay at TH7 or dont, all i know is that i hope i find you if you go to TH8. Also, ive seen a maxed TH8 demolish a TH9 army on multiple occasions

I maxed out th6 so that would mean I have all pink walls. (Except for the 50 more that I will get, which will be upgraded to lvl6)
