The Phantom, A New Unique Troop That Doesn't Require Maxed Barracks

Hello Everyone,

Recently, I have been reading a lot of wonderful troop and spell ideas that are great, but will anger lower leveled players, as they 1) Require a max upgrade- i.e- Spell Factory Level 6, Barracks Level 11, Dark Barracks level 6 2) Cost absurd amounts of Elixir or Dark Elixir. I want to change that, with my troop idea.

My troop idea: The Phantom

Stats:

Name- Phantom
DPS- 17 (lv1) 21 (lv2) 25 (lv3) 39 (lv4)546 (lv5) 74 (lv6)
Hit Points- 70 (lv1) 82 (lv2) 94 (lv3) 108 (lv4) 145 (lv5) 163 (lv6)
Interval of Shots- One shot every second
Speed- 15
Housing Space- 7
Dark Elixir Costs- 50 (lv1) 100 (lv2) 150 (lv3) 175 (lv4) 200 (lv5) 225 (lv6)
Dark Barracks Level- 3 (all other proceeding upgrades moved up one dark barracks barracks level)
Favorite Target- Defenses
Type- Ranged

Phantom Colors-
Level 1- White
Level 2- White
Level 3- Baby Blue
Level 4- Baby Blue
Level 5- Grey with Yellow Eyes
Level 6- Blazing Red with A Fiery Sword

Attacks- The Phantom shoots waves of fire
Colors-
Level 1- Blue
Level 2- Blue
Level 3- Blue
Level 4- Purple
Level 5- Maroon
Level 6- Fiery Red

Ability that makes it unique- The Phantom goes invisible at certain time increments for a certain amount of time. It cannot be hit in this time

Invisibility (Time Increments/Duration)-
Level 1- 15 Seconds/5 Seconds
Level 2- 15 Seconds/6 Seconds
Level 3- 15 Seconds/7 Seconds
Level 4- 15 Seconds/8 Seconds
Level 5- 13 Seconds/8 Seconds
Level 6- 10 Seconds/8 Seconds

I'm not exactly sure, but I believe that regular barracks are full. Given he fact that it has this special ability and that dark barracks aren't full, this should be a dark troop. Also, the ivisibility times are a little long, but you just need to shorten the duration by a 2 seconds. And why is the cost difference so big between lvls 1 and 2? Maybe something like this (in DE) 50, 100, 150, 200, 225, 250. ( notice how the pattern changes for levels 5 & 6.) This idea could be used though. Oh, and is it melee? If it is, thenmake it so it cant attack, but can move while invisible. Make it Dark Barracks level 3 and move everything else up. Maybe also make hp 10 higher each lvl.

Yeah, the normal barracks is full.
This just seems like a wizard that can turn invisible.
Also, the cost differences in levels is absurd. (750 elixir difference between the first and second levels? WTH?)

What in the world are you talking about lol there is only a cost difference of 750. Do the math..

Can you guys please give feedbacks to improve this idea? The better this idea is presented, the higher the chances of us making a difference

Alright! Great ideas!

I'm sure you've heard this before, but low-level gameplay is almost perfectly balanced (you could get this troop at th 5? 6?) and the reason that the updates are for the more advanced players is because we are the ones who need novelty. There's also a reason that the new troops require dark barracks upgrades and usually quite a bit of dark: if you want the new, cool (and usually pretty powerful) stuff, you have to pay a lot of resources for it.

As someone who is quickly running out of upgrades, it is easy to see why the updates are aimed at us: pushing costs a ton of resources, and who wants to spend months just working on walls and heroes? I believe there's a new troop for every town hall, except for th 10. The novelty should be aimed at the old players, not the new ones.

This is true, but if one or two fancy troops are at the mid-level mark, more players will decide to advance more to reach this goal :)
