In my opinion this is worse. You should focuse on farming resources, and not gaining trophies. So try to place the storages in the middle of the base.

Yep, and make sure your wizard tower and mortar and in range of your storages if possible.

your TH and CC should switch positions. try this and see how much less resources you lose. trophies don't matter at your stage in the game. besides, you will win trophies back easily by attacking.

Hey

At your level the most important defence in my opinion is the mortar have it centralised like your town hall protected in the core of your base because the mortar does a lot of damage to lvl 1-4 troops maybe higher focus on upgrading your mortar and then your wizard towers as they can take out a pile of troops on the walls
