level12 mines and collectors

I am working on maxing out my defences now and archer towers and cannons both when to level 12 but the resources coming in havent increased in along time, since the update to town hall level 9 i think. It is time for another level to be added to them. High level play is starting to become boring and a lot of my clan members are not playing as much or not at all because its taking way too long to collect the resources we need for upgrades. I posted something about this before and I got comments like just farm dummy etc. How do you think I made it to this point? The problem is farming is getting harder to do because the bases with the large lots are so well defended now you need a good troop group to attack them which takes a lot of time and elixir. Plus the larger the amount of resources you have the more times you get attacked. You get half a million a day, but if you get attacked, you can lose that in a day also. I dont lose that much very often, and i leave my town hall outside my walls, but sometimes farmers or people dropping trophies will attack and take 100,000 or so and not hit the town hall leaving me a win and still open for another attack. More resources would help everyone, how many times at 1000 gold per skip have you spent 50,000 or more gold trying to find a base to attack that is worth your time to attack it? I just think its time that more resources got added into game play to allow all the guys that have been playing since the game came out to use their 5 builders again. I would be in support of an extra level on collectors. Perhaps increasing the production rate a bit to where it doesn't offset the balance of the game.

My strongest recommendation though would be to just make it an achievement when people max their gold mines to level 11. It would be a strong incentive for players to max their mines even if it's only for 20 gems. That would be the best route imo.

I agree with everything your saying. The only issue is I think supercell wants to promote micro transactions. That is business so it would be in their best interest to have lots of expensive super cool upgrades that take a long time and slow resources coming in. If you think they are rocking this game out of the kindness of their hearts or because they like us, you'd be wrong. They are making money, every addition, upgrade or new thing is all about bringing people in to spend real money. So I agree with you. All the way, I'd love to see faster resource collectors. However I don't thing we will. I think we will see town hall upgrades, new troops, new spells, or defensive buildings but I don't think resources will be one of them. Even 1 gem boosts are awesome!! Still costs real money though.

I realize supercell is a company that makes money, but its in everyone's best intrest to get more resources into to game on attacks or through collecting. Most people in my clan have dropped a few bucks on this game, that being said its way to expensive to gem things all the time. Supercell has the people that spend affordable amounts of money in mind. Not the people that bankrupt themselves to play, or the ones that dont buy any gems ever. So introducing another lvl of collectors would start to balance the extreme high cost of the high lvl upgrades. Lets face it once you have your defences maxed you still have walls to upgrade( for the rest of your life), and new upgrades will keep coming out.

1: me and other people from SKICoCIS are not 'kill-joys', we are just people that want to educate people in the COC ideas sub-forum (and we don't have any special privileges, we just try to educate people)
2: the '!' At the end was purely a mis type

honestly the search kinda sucks, and also I am not going to search over and over again on every topic. I read the sticky to see if it has been ruled out and if not i bring it up, again. The fact that its being brought up over and over seems to show that I'm not the only one that feels the resources need a boost. But thanks for pointing out the search to me, I know its there and I can read i just hate using it and its a waste of time IMO. If it has been ruled out and not being considered then ya dont talk about it, but bringing something up again and getting high on the list so people see it and comment does it really matter if its listed as a new topic or another post on someone else's
