Leaving Heroes at low level or not ?

Seening that my King is now level 8 and on a friend's account (where I help out because he cannot play regularly), King is 7 an AQ 3, I am beginning to wonder to what level it is wise to upgrade the heroes.

The issue is the regeneration time.
Of course if boosted, it's four timeas as fast.

I like to use the king, as he is very strong with his iron fist now.
If I upgrade him to 10, he can use level 2 of iron fist and if boosted, be available every 24 minutes.
Same goes for the Archer Queen.

I have begun thinking I would prefer to use a relative low level hero every 24 minutes rather than having high level heroes that need an even longer regeneration time.
Not sure though.

Any thoughts on this ?

I am mainly farming, with the occasional trophy push every once in a while.

I would upgrade my Heroes regardless of the regeneration time, especially after the brilliant Hero update. I don't know if anyone else would share this view with me because personally I use them sparingly in my attacks. The only time I need my Heroes is when I need the additional percentages to win or to 2 star a base. An upgraded Hero comes in handy in those tight situations.

With obstacles giving up to 6 gems and the fact that you can boost heroes regen time for 10 gems, i advise you to max them ASAP.

I'm not leving them i just dont got the resorses

The higher lvl you get them, the more profit you have in raiding !
Who cares about the regen time.
Whats most important is how usefull they are in each battle!!

Mine are only 10/6 but I am trying to boost them up as much as possible :)

I've neglected heros a bit. king 12, queen 10. I'll push them a bit more over the coming weeks.

The sooner you can get the up the better in my opinion. If you have the DE it should take priority as the next upgrade, 100%.

As you get about half way through TH9 you should be able to keep a builder on one of them all the time.

If you have a look at all the top farming clans, almost all of them have maxed defences, but hardly any have maxed hero's. I think that tells you all you need to know and points out just how long they take to max.

I did not upgrade my hero's passed level 10 because of the regen time. But I just finished a trophy hunt and I got attacked by a lot of level 40 hero's.

They will get you 10%, if needed.

You don't need them high level for farming, but I guess your playing this game to see how high you can get when the time is there. You will need high level hero's then.

And upgrading them takes a long time so I started upgrading them as soon as my hunt ended.

If I were you, I would max them out. Their HP and DPS makes up for their regeneration time. Boost is 10 gems anyways, and 10 gems is pretty easy to get.
